I totally get where you're coming from. I mean, the trolling gets annoying, but when people keep feeding you...idk. There are just times where the trolling has more negative impact on the people who aren't being a **** to you, man. But I'll admit I've trolled now and then too, largely for the same reasons.

I also genuinely feel that the Sheik supporters don't have much ground to stand on besides 'This is what happened in Melee and Brawl, so it'll happen now to'. It just gets annoying, but I know when to quit. Most of the time at least. It's just that people seem to become increasingly upset whenever a veteran's removal is discussed.

Except when 'clones' of course (who are mostly unique characters outside of their specials in Brawl) and the occasional hate against Ike, Lucario, R.O.B., Mr.Game & Watch, Ice Climbers, Pokémon Trainer or Jigglypuff. Yet, nobody gets nearly as upset as one of these characters are suggested being cut or replaced. Most of the time.

It's just hypocritical. And such, I choose to be obnoxious. Sort of a rebel with a cause. But on a damn internet forum about videogame characters....

I think including the Avatar/Robin/whatever would be a pretty good choice, imo superior to Chrom or Lucina or Anna. If Sakurai is concerned with taking from different aspects and elements of FE, nothing quite represents both Awakening and the new direction FE is going in quite as well as the Avatar/My Unit character, who is probably going to become a staple.

Not to mention their potential far outweighs any other plausible FE candidate, and they can be updated in the future to not just reflect Awakening.

Honestly the only FE character I really want to see Ceada. But I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of Robin, at least they'll actually show one of Fire Emblem's main battle concepts.

Think the styles of Marth, Ike, Roy and Lyn contrast enough to worth them all their inclusion, despite all of them using swords.

I'd like Robin to summon certain members of the Shepherds somehow either for a Final Smash, or for a move that's basically an Assist Trophy, or as an "Ice Climber" character. He/She is the Tactician after all. I'd like to see Chrom, Lissa, Sumia, Frederick, Lucina, and Tharja appear as part of his/her move set if that is the case.

Rosalina's Mario Kart-centric trailer was specifically revealed alongside Mario Kart 8 to help hype it up. However, most of the obvious newcomers have no upcoming releases from their series to pair their trailers up with in Nintendo Directs. This includes Ridley, K. Rool, Palutena, Little Mac, Takamaru, Pac-Man and Mewtwo (though I am unsure on the last two). When could their potential reveals be done with this potential dilemma in mind?

Keep in mind, this isn't a question of which games can be linked to their site profiles, it's which upcoming games their trailers can coincide with in Nintendo Directs.

Yeah the Final Smash would simply act like in the FE:A boxart.
It would be called Unit Storm.

Something tells me something like that won't be a common recurrence. Instead the focus is going to center around the origins of the character and forming a short animation based around that. Especially in the context of how would the character be introduced and how others would respond to the situation.

Well Sakurai is probably either going to have the trailer start where the setting has nothing to do with the character to be revealed (sort of like Rosalina, but even moreso - it could even just be the revealed characters fighting in some arbitrary location like with Mega Man's), or he's going to make it appear as if we're getting a new Metroid or Punch-Out or DKC or whatever the situation calls for, but really it's just a trailer for that character in Smash (sort of like WFT's, mixed with people thinking Rosalina's was for Air Ride).

Or he could just drop the whole trolling pretense, but it's Sakurai, so I'm not counting on that.

I'm actually starting to rethink my decision for a Fire Emblem character.
Nobody here was expecting Rosalina, yet SHE got in as the Mario newcomer.
Maybe it will be somebody like Anna instead of the obvious choices of Chrom, Roy, and (to a lesser extent) Robin. In fact, I just don't like the idea of Robin.

There are Waddle Dees that do use parasols though... It could be his recovery attack, similar to Peach's in a way?

The only Newcomer I'd happily accept would be a Tactician that has both, abilities to handle things on his own, and Specials that summon generic FE units to fight for him. I know Sakurai could pull this off.

OR, have ANDY from AW take on that role instead.

I just hope future trailers are just as entertaining as the last one.

I mean they do have personality to go around, which makes them seem more memorable. Despite using the same silent treatment used for the SSE cutscenes, it works better in those trailers because it puts more emphasis on interactions and animations. Also less brown.
