So who would you guys pick for a second Sega character?
I'd pick either Vectorman (favorite SEGA character), or Pulseman.
Vectorman doesn't really have a shot, but I love his transformyness. He could shoot energy blasts from his hands, use leg thrusters to attack and recover (his Dair would be godlike), and he can transform pretty much any part of his body into anything. Wether it's inflating his fists so they become huge, or growing a scorpion tail, to transforming into a train or a tank.

Pulseman was made by Game Freak, but was published (or was owned?) by SEGA. Not sure who exactly owns Pulseman these days, but it would be awesome to have him around. His gameplay gimmick is that when he runs, he stores electric powers for him to use. So translated to smash, his electric attacks would be weak, but if he runs for a while, his electric power is doubled. He can only use this once before he has to run again to charge some more electricity.
He'd be a sort of hybrid between Captain Falcon and Pikachu in his fighting style.
