Indeed, most rational individuals realize that 3 absurd guesses that actualized is something more than "luck". One that directly defies Sakurai's precedent statements, one that literally no sane person would have guessed (with any logical basis that is), and one that is a 3rd party character that specifically depends on compliance from a separate entity. We must retain that the suspected intent of the leak was to convince people of its legitimacy. So under the rare occurrence that someone actually guessed Wii Fit Trainer or Villager, no one would believe the leak. The poster decided to, with this knowledge, release what he knew. So he essentially defeats the purpose of leaking the character initially; however, his assertion was correct.
Some might state that his leak has already been proven fallacious (as we are missing half of the characters). However, at this point, those results are negligible. Most people already assume that Little Mac is in the game. Most people started to guess Miis after Wii Fit Trainers reveal regardless. Pacman is the easiest to guess, evidenced by Sakurai's immediate statement in regards to the involvement of Namco. So the leak has already served its purpose. People may be erroneously speculating on certain characters based only on the leak, but in my opinion, the leak has already proven its legitimacy. That doesn't mean that I am expecting those three characters though. There doesn't have to be a correlation.
So in essence, it wouldn't be absurd to use the leak as evidence. It might not be the strongest support, but it is valid enough.
