By the way, apparently Iwata has a disembodied head version of himself exactly like Kawashima as shown in today's Japanese Nintendo Direct for the upcoming Daigasso! Band Brothers P game.
Guess that takes away from the Kawashima idea.

No, this statement is inherently false. No one competent would ever assert that Pacman would be in Smash if Namco wasn't co-developing the game. I understand the core of your statement. Pacman will be included only because Sakurai wants to include him (Namco working on the title is irrelevant to Sora Ltd.), this portion is true. However, the implications are contradictory. The only reason Pacman would be considered by Sakurai is BECAUSE Namco is developing the game. So just by associating that notion, it is clear that Namco's development actually has a direct correlation to his inclusion. I am just trying to elaborate on what you said, I agree with you. I would just take it a step further.

Yes,
This is exactly how I feel, no doubt that Sakurai can do whatever he wants. That doesn't make it a good idea. The only people keeping the hype alive are on the forums, the people actually discussing the game, the people anticipating the game. The majority of the populace only surfaces to discuss whatever news we get, which is never a lot. Sora Ltd. marketed Brawl FAR better than this pitiful attempt. We actually got news on the Dojo, it wasn't always characters, there were other relevant things to discuss such as assist trophies, Pokemon, Items, stages, you name it. This time around, all we have to talk about are the characters and when they could potentially be revealed. It is pathetic. Sakurai is marketing the game to us, not the other way around. He is not pleasing many people, and he is not making me more excited for the game. I am excited because I know it will be a quality game, the prequels were some of my favorite games of all time. That is the only reason I am around.
Reggiemon Trainer is not a real character.
I agree with this sentiment... but at the same time, we already have so many ridiculous threads. It is hard to see the detrimental aspects of allowing another one. It just seems so... arbitrary.
Technically, it's Reggie, (who has a thread), who is controlling 3 real Pokémon who where named after him.
The worst part? I actually think that he is more likely than characters like Simon Belmont.
Well... we do already have a Capcom character like Megaman, so that probably means that we will for SURE get another one. So go right ahead, buddy!

It's not that I think he'll be in, it's that I like the character and think that he should at least get some representation through a thread, as he is a very iconic 3rd Party character.
There was no hope for him to begin with.
To be fair, I wouldn't have ever guessed that Snake would make it into Smash either.
