I'm personally okay waiting for a few more months for a newcomer.

In November, which veteran do you think will be revealed for the roster?

Theres got to be something coming. 2 major releases in November with LoZ:ALBW and Super Mario 3D World coming out, I have a feeling we will get Zelda or Ganondorf for sure.

Mario newcomer would be really swell, buy I could see Wario or Yoshi being revealed, theyre related to Mario enough for it to be okay. LoZ doesnt come out until Decembet in Japan so we'll probably have to wait on that one.

Just like how Mewtwo was the most likely pokemon to be revealed in October.

I assume there are two possible reasons Sakurai did not show off a Pokemon:
1. That rumor that Gamefreak made him hold it off, which is kinda believable.
2. Sakurai didn't believe Pokemon needed any type of promotion. Pokemon was already being advertised like crazy, so he felt a character reveal would be unnecessary (and get lost in all the craze that is a new Pokemon game).

Something like WWHD, Pikmin, and Mario and Luigi Dream Team, those are mildly popular games with small following, so Sakurai wanted to give it an extra push. I doubt he needed to do it for Pokemon.

It sold like crazy also. So I believe Mewtwo didn't have to be revealed. Of course there's a theory (of mines) that Sakurai may be working on a Mewtwo that transforms into Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y, so maybe that's why Mewtwo isn't revealed yet. It's probably taking much of the development time.

Beating up a plumber with a fitness trainer is amusing, but beating up a bounty hunter with a floating head is just as amusing IMO.

NO! I really don't think any veterans are THAT low of the priority list. Don't forget that there are TONS upon TONS of possible newcomers, most of which I expect to appear on that list.

Yeah, I wanted to say Jiggs, but she's a bit of a lock really. I doubt Sakurai would cut Jiggs, so if he was running short on time, he would almost definitely put Jiggs into the game real quick before the game is finished. Wolf, Snake, and Lucas are less important IMO, but Jiggs is probably towards the bottom when it comes to priority because she's easy to make.

I'm going to take a random crapshot guess and say that priorities at the moment are focusing on trying to include every veteran in the series, then the next priority being to introduce newcomers. It might explain why there is a bit of a gap since E3 for newcomers, and if the whole promotional thing continues we might not get anything actually new until next year. But I cannot tell the future, so take this with a grain of salt.

I have a propaganda for several characters, BluePikmin, but I don't enforce them to the extent you enforce Dr. Kawashima, because like him, they're not likely nor vastly wanted.

And a floating head beating up a bounty hunter is cute and all, but frankly I'd much rather see a boy in red beat up a giant turtle using wrenches, or a blue captain not named Olimar throw rock people at a anthropomorphic space pilot, both for the reason that it'd be strange and awesome.

But are there enough requests for those characters to be anything more than costumes? Most likely not.

Pichu was meant to be scrapped for Brawl, so chances are very high that he isn't coming back. Toon Zelda I can't vouch for. She shouldn't be an alternate costume.

Agreed. Doc could be an easy Alternate Costume for Mario. I mean they have to be able to edit the fireballs into Megavitamins. Pichu is basically a waste of a character slot and was a joke character to begin with.

Pikachu can only learn Volt Tackle as a Pichu.
Melee Pikachu was the Pikachu from 64, and was made before Pichu was invented, so Melee Pialchu couldn't learned Volt Tackle.
Also the blue goggles are on Pichu and Brawl Pikachu.
