Hmm, how about Kane AND Tanya?

Red Alert and Tiberian are different universes after all.

But, on Tanya, only if we get the original actress... I forget her name, but she's damn hot, and had a much better attitude than the blonde porn-star from RA3. How about this, RA3 never happened.

That's right I forgot that the first actress was also different, the characterization was the same though. I meant the second one. I keep forgetting her name but I remember her being a sex icon of my youth.

She's in some movie, I can't remember the name either, but there's a famous scene involving blue paint that's all over the web.

What? Seriously? Look, I'm a big Warcraft fan, and I love their characters and story, but no. Just no.

There's absolutely no way that their characters have been more influential to the gaming industry than Mega Man or Pac-Man.

Considering that those names at least, are typically household names synonymous with video games, in addition to Mario and Zelda. If I mention Blizzard or Thrall to the average person, they won't know what I'm talking about. World of Warcraft maybe, but only because it's so popular.

Popularity =/= Iconic status.

I guess the problem with many of these big hit PC games is you either take the role of a character (Doom Guy doesn't have a name and very little background so it is basically you), you have generic characters you control (marines, zerglings, orcs) or you name the main characters in the game and play as a caste (WoW, Diablo).

Still the Orc Unit from War2, Necromancer from Diablo, Zergling from Starcraft, Imp and other monsters from Doom, etc. are all very iconic in gaming. The Cacodemon is usually a symbol for gaming. The Cyberdemon has appeared in games outside of Doom.

Go look at my original lineup. Jim Raynor is in there and so is the Queen of Blades lol. Those are pretty much the two biggest Starcraft characters. I guess Zeratul is up there as well and Tassador.
