i vote for the 20th... it gives me time to make back all the money that i am going to spend in BC

oh and for the guys going to BC i kinda want to practice certain matchups before we go, like ic's and rob. so we should get a smashefest going

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BC - UNNOFFICIAL FOR NOW

As there is unnofficially no more room in the carpool for BC that the Twins and Ash are supplying, unless room pops up for it if one of them cannot make it, and this depends on if I can get Friday/Saturday/Sunday off on (I will check it soon after my first week of training/work is complete)...

THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER CARPOOL TO BC THAT I CAN SUPPLY. There is room for 5 (4 comfortably) in my vehicle. I already have a car so no need for anyone to be 21 or older for rental. My tire has gone flat and if it just requires a fill-up and a plugging, then my car is golden. If I can get the days off for it, then the carpool is on granted that nobody else from the first one bails.

That being said, the more that come, the less expensive it will be for gas money and it will give you the opportunity to spend more on other necessities such as food/tournament entrance/whatever. We already have housing so that makes it much more convenient for us.

TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. Express your interests but know that nothing is confirmed until I can pull through and offer proper pricings on things to travel. We'd be following the Twins and Ash as they go. If possible, if anyone else who comes with me is capable of driving (Mike, you know you wanna join your bros lol), switching off so that the other can get rest (starting at 6 AM is gonna be tough on me if I go it alone LOL) it would be great.

If we're lucky, we could bring MOST of Alberta if we wanted to, to really bring it to BC and increase our chances of not letting BC in on money spots for Singles.

Grain of salt. That is all. Here's to hoping. I'll keep you guys up to date.

What characters (that matter) does Alberta not have covered?

Other than a legit Dedede, Ice Climbers, and Wario, we've got it covered pretty well.

I'd say my IC's are semi legit. Both Dan and I play dedede, but yeah, we're lacking a really good wario, and he's one of the characters I cannot play well at all.

You guys just wait. Keith has got the smarts, he's really good at other games he understands (BlazBlue mainly and hes decent at SSFIV). He just needs the control over wario, which comes with experience.

i can't wait till he takes every match to time <3

that's pretty sweet brandon, i'm down for switching off driving with you, although i can only drive for like 3-4 hours straight max due to my shoulder blade problem. We should get jamie to see if he can make it or not soon so we can confirm this

too bad maiko's little brother jason can't make it out more often, his wario is pretty legit, maiko u should see if he can make it to some smashfest sometime, im sure keith could learn a few things from him, plus it would be fun to have another wario out too

I vouche for this entirely.

Keith successfully almost took the first match off of me last tournament. It was dangerously close. It got to the point where I was actually SCARED because one hit from Wario would kill me. Meanwhile, one hit from me, and he'd survive it. I NEEDED that FSmash to win.

I'm glad we shook hands after that. Keith is getting better and better and better as we all play. Seriously, he could be one of Canada's best Warios if we keep this up.

And Mike, that's totally fine. All I'd need is time to recharge anyway if we switched off. Especially if we started driving at 6 AM.

Maiko's Sheik is just too beast. I have no idea what to do against Brawl Sheik.

I'm terrible at both those games (BB:CS and SSF4), though. I just seem good 'cause you guys are even worse~

He really isn't that bad to main, in fact i think he is a great character.
Really he ***** more than half the cast in multiple ways, and he is only gayed by top/high tiers like falco, MK and etc.
Once you get past all the gay stuff he does pretty good against a lot of the high tiers. its only 6:4 against MK, once you get past the gay things (tornado) than its really not as bad as people think.
