i was reading about this new snake taunt (where he does his salute) as a taunt

would that be allowed? its a taunt so it doesn't effect gameplay, but it changes the character

i think on principle we should disallow it.

the effect is not major, but what if you're playing against someone who gets really psyched out by taunting. and then what if this taunt is significantly shorter than the box taunt? it gives snake an advantage he wouldn't normally have.

slightly ad absurdum, but again, it's the principle of it. so i'd say no, unless there's overwhelming support for it ._.

I'm with Mike, though. If we allow the Snake hack, we'd have to allow for, say, a really annoying new Sonic taunt or stage hacks.

Great for friendlies, but kind of bullsh*t for tourney play.
