You'll notice I veer most matchups closer toward 50/50 than most other people would. I think most people don't realize how significant an advantage even a 55-45 matchup is and just post ratios in multiples of 5 to make things look neat.

that's an awesome link... basically what these matchups are good for is "how easy is it for my opponent to get around 'my game' and vice versa... how easy is it to control the flow of the match"... i think

35-65 (at best)/ 30-70 (more likely accurate) mk

55-45 or 60-40 dk (trust me on this one i get to play against the best dk on the east coast all the time)

i am kinda surprised we go even with tl. i forgot to put tl down in since i play a pretty solid one pretty regularly and i almost also beat him. i would of thought it was more of a 60/40 rob or a 55/45.

Anyway this is kinda cool but how accruate is it since its just a lot of peoples opinions and some people who are not experienced enough with a certain MU might of changed the numbers by giving a uneducated opinion. O well ether way its pretty cool

Only ratio I don't think is close is vs ICs. We dominate them if we play it right. They simply can't approach us at all and we can play purely reactionary.

well since my tl friend has a bit of a curse against me (even if he should win most of the time i end up winning its kinda funny) i will just have to go with tl vs rob being even since i would need to play a wider variety of tl before i could say other wise and have it be legit.

i think rob has a 60/40 on ic's but no matter how much your character could or should **** the ic's one grab could be one stock a very scary thought.

Those were the results I got, then I turned them to 50-50(vs TL) and 55-45(vs IC). Just saying.

sudai I gotta disagree... the only place we can be "safe" is hanging off the ledge, and proper desynch/mindgames will completely negate any benefit that gives us... properly ltimed ic's u-air is incredibly effective if we're trying to stall on the level, and ic's fsmash out-spaces nair, so we don't really have _anything_ that can be spammed safely there...

If they try to desynch, pop them with a laser. That simple. If they're "too close" just jump and retreating laser. You shouldn't be letting IC's desynch against you.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that ROB isn't legit other than getting his jets beat by MK, who also does that against everyone else (except Snake) anyway.

im sticking by my original stance of MK, ZSS (if someone bothers to actually USE the infinite- how situational it may/may not be), DDD being the hardest MUs, Snake being closer to 50/50, and Olimar slightly advantaged.

Id like to go through the tourney results thread at some time and see who lost to who (and their character) to get a clearer idea of what the +/- MUs are in practice, as opposed to paper.

6 have been MKs
1 Wolf
1 Snake
1 Olimar
1 Pit
1 ROB

I've beaten a Lucas and Olimar in a MM, lost to a MK and Pit

My loses from touneys in my region(Brazilian Midwest) are always from Zamus and DDD(this guy only pick DDD against my ROB ¬¬). I usually lose to MKs and sometimes G&Ws(obviously, there're others lol) on bigger tourneys.
