OK. I liked the venue but there was a lack of power outlets for more setups for friendlies.

Hmmm if you're looking at November, the 3rd is probably the best date. The 10th and 17th are home football games in Ann Arbor, and the 24th is in the middle of Thanksgiving weekend. Just my two cents.

if i run banned people who have a strong preference for legal will pick and choose between mine and yours since yours is 2 weeks away.

if i run legal then our events compete with one another in terms of attendance

I have some truly crazy and awesome things I wanna do here. I may need 5 months to pull it together. I want to surpass any Midwest Brawl event ever done. I'm sinking a little bit of that check into this as well. I may also make this a 2 day event. I'm bringing Phoenix Saga to a new level.

I don't know what Phil and Chibo are doing but those aren't near this region. There is no reason to worry about close dates with those tournaments.
