So isn't DonkaFjord around here that much by any chance? I'm sure he'd be happy to see another supporter of this character.

Yeah I figured her gimmick would rely on rhythm either in landing attacks or attacks that have different properties based on rhythm like how fast/far a projectile will go.My only concern is that whomever will suffer stiff competition from Game & Watch for "(mini) game based attacks". The way I see such a character working is that, along with game based attacks, it will be a hard-to-use character that needs rhythm to do much damage, but when rhythm is pulled off successfully...everything will die (think of it like Donkey Kong's final smash, except on every attack.)
I come around every now and then- I am glad people do like the idea of seeing miss rhythm over some of the other rhythm heaven characters, but any representation would be nice.So isn't DonkaFjord around here that much by any chance? I'm sure he'd be happy to see another supporter of this character.
Actually, her preparing and firing animations of this blast (made out of several Rhythm Heaven characters)...But personally, I'd say her Final Smash should be something called "Rhythm Heaven Power". What is that? It involves her holding up a magic wand, and blasting out of her wand all over the arena, several characters from the whole series (all in their original, untouched 2D designs). Kind of like the Wii Fit Trainer's.
But before it begins and when she triggers it, there's an RH-styled dialogue box on the bottom of the screen (like Pokemon Trainer from Brawl) that says, "All beings of Rhythm Heaven, lend me your power!"
Mmm that's an interesting way of incorporating more of the rhythm heaven characters, but if she did appear I am not sure of such an attack would be likely. Especially if they made the characters more 3D instead of the flat 2D art style of rhythm heavenBump. This character needs all the support she can get.

It would be more like Ryu/Ken's Hadouken.
Charging up the shot with her hands like so (with several RH characters revolving/orbiting around the energy ball), and putting her hands out to blast it that way too (as the various RH characters get blasted all over the attack's range).
Again, this Final Smash is supposed to be like the Wii Fit Trainer's.
Anything's possible. If she were in the game, what other time would be better to show her?Do you all think Ms. Rhythm might be shown at E3?
Yeah, I think she should be hidden. She would make a good reward :DSay guys, do you think Ms. Rhythm (if she is playable in the game, of course.) should be a starter or hidden character? I'm personally leaning more towards hidden.
I'd like seeing her starter since she'd be the icon of a new series, sort of like Villager and Wii Fit Trainer.Say guys, do you think Ms. Rhythm (if she is playable in the game, of course.) should be a starter or hidden character? I'm personally leaning more towards hidden.
Rhythm Heaven is probably only deserving of a single rep for a long time (if not for forever.) The only thing I am not fond of with the characters you just mentioned is the fact that they only represent a single minigame or they are only in one game of the series. Obviously they could take some artistic freedom when creating movesets with them and allow the characters to borrow from the rest of the rhythm heaven cast.Karate Joe, Marshal, and the Chorus Boys seem like the most probable characters. Smash 5 maybe, Ms. Rhythm.
Agreed 100% there.Honestly, I think if Smash 4 gets a Rhythm Heaven rep, (I'm personally still gunning for Ms. Rhythm, Marhsal (or him with Ms. Ribbon and Cam), or the Chorus Kids.) They should all simply borrow things from other minigames from Rhythm Heaven rather "morph" into other characters. That seems so freaky to me.
Or compromise and let them summon characters similar to Zelda's Phantom.Honestly, I think if Smash 4 gets a Rhythm Heaven rep, (I'm personally still gunning for Ms. Rhythm, Marhsal (or him with Ms. Ribbon and Cam), or the Chorus Kids.) They should all simply borrow things from other minigames from Rhythm Heaven rather "morph" into other characters. That seems so freaky to me.
What if they were like Zelda and Sheik, and that they've all been one character this whole time?Honestly, I think if Smash 4 gets a Rhythm Heaven rep, (I'm personally still gunning for Ms. Rhythm, Marhsal (or him with Ms. Ribbon and Cam), or the Chorus Kids.) I think that is part of what they are saying. Some people are suggesting the chorus boys or marshal will morph into other rhythm heaven characters because they are 'too bland' or they are trying to tie more character references in their moveset. Some people don't like that idea because of how it alters with the designs and feels unnatural for the character, but it could be done well (it depends on the animations etc.) so to each their own I suppose. What if they were like Zelda and Sheik, and that they've all been one character this whole time?
Um, what is it?
No one has mentioned this here yet? I know Rhythm Girl's chances aren't all that great *cough*especially with a certain leak doing fairly well*cough* but at least some Rhythm Heaven representation might make it in.
Um, what is it?
Welp.

Yeah that quote seems to be inching closer to being completely true every reveal now. Even so, Most of the choices in that leak were fairly safe bets so its a toss up between a leak and an educated guess. I am just hyped for a rhythm heaven character now (especially since no series has had enemies in smash run without having a playable character- yet (I think.) Subspace enemies could represent R.O.B. or Mii arguably because of his part in the storyline and the fact miis use the smash emblem as well.)OMG! I completely forgot about Ms.Rhythm! Now she might just have a shot at being playable! However, the one thing that I think could stop her is the fact that a "certain leak" is starting to become more and more true with each passing day, but with now with Sneaky Spirit enemy showing up Smash Run now, I feel the ball is in anyone's court for RH characters So here's hoping for a playable Rhythm Heaven character! (Honestly, if it's the Chorus Kids, I'll still be fine with it, if it's not Ms. Rhythm or Marshal (and his friends)
That'd be cool for all star voice actors, but I'd be fine with whoever counts you down in Rhythm Heaven Fever in the beginning of each game.Hey guys, A thought just came to me. What if Ms. Rhythm had a voice actress, and what if it was Janice Kawaye? For those of you who do not know who this is, Janice Kawaye is a voice actress who has done a lot of animated roles such as Gi on Captain Planet, Ami on Cartoon Network's Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Nickelodeon's My Life as a Teenage Robot as Jenny Wakeman, Adult Swim's Bleach as Yuzu Kurosaki, and the Ninja Gaiden series' Ayane. History lessons and resume aside, I personally think Janice would be a great person to lend her cute, gentle, and overall adorable voice to Ms. Rhythm. What do you guys think? (BTW, I also think if not Janice Kawaye, then Grey DeLisle or Tara Strong would work too.)
I suppose you're talking about my idea to have Ms. Rhythm voiced by Janice Kawaye, right? That'd be cool for all star voice actors, but I'd be fine with whoever counts you down in Rhythm Heaven Fever in the beginning of each game.
Yeah... I can't find the name of the original voice actor for the wii version though. Hm... Nintendo probably keeps all that stuff on file somewhere.I suppose you're talking about my idea to have Ms. Rhythm voiced by Janice Kawaye, right?
The chorus men actually haven't been in all of them, but some characters look similar like marshal (and some say the nightwalker but he is just a white stick figure so that's a bit of a stretch although they do replace him with Marshal in rhythm heaven fever.) They only 'truly' appear in the DS game, but they are very popular because of how much they were used to promote the game and it was the first rhythm heaven game released internationally. The thing with rhythm heaven is very few (like 3 or 4) characters appear in the all the games in the series- but two of them are more background characters who don't really appear in the mini games (Rhythm girl appeared in one and the dog barista hasn't appeared in any I believe?) and the other is Karate Joe. The others are monkeys but they are 'generic' characters where many different ones appear and then the nightwalker/chorus men/marshal, cam, and miss ribbon who are disputed whether they are related or not. Either way we are very likely to get a rhythm heaven character so I am happy no matter who makes it in!Well... I dunno i want Chorus Men more... BUT! that won't stop me to congratulate you for being one of the few people who not only wants a RH Rep but shows tons of moveset potential and really makes me want to play as this character! but Chorus Men have been in all i'm pretty sure so i'd say they are about equal in chances but again Kudos!
The dog barista appeared in 'Air Boarders', the 51st game in Rhythm Heaven that doubles as the credits. Ahh awesome I didn't know that. It's so weird only a few characters are returning characters throughout the series. Also I wonder if a Rhythm Heaven character makes it in if they will be flat or 3D. The one on the DS featured both low poly and flat characters but the wii game and the original Gameboy/arcade game had only the flat art style. The dog barista appeared in 'Air Boarders', the 51st game in Rhythm Heaven that doubles as the credits. Well it is made exactly like the game (Which means a rhythm heaven character is most likely going to be super faithful to their appearances.) It doesn't look like its a flattened 3D model but Game and Watch fooled me the first time I saw him. Is there a for sure way to tell?Something about its animations tell me it's hand drawn 2D.
I'm no programmer, with but the instant complete change in appearance and its quick up and down movement is something I've never seen a 3D model do. Plus it's 1:1 with the Fever sprite. Not even Game&Watch, who has Wario that animates like him.Well it is made exactly like the game (Which means a rhythm heaven character is most likely going to be super faithful to their appearances.) If that is true I really hope the possible RH rep is the same way. They might have invisible 3D models over the top of them for gameplay reasons or something like that, but if it is possible to exactly replicate the original games then I am all for it. I suppose that also means the way Game and Watch is animated might have changed as well (Especially if his cameo in Pacman's trailer is his new design- maybe they revamped him.)I'm no programmer, with but the instant complete change in appearance and its quick up and down movement is something I've never seen a 3D model do.
