We are going good, and are up to holding hands. We said I love You. Mods lock if this is already existing. This is only for Boyfriend/Girlfriend relationships.

First off, I lol'd at in walmart begging for money v_v



Secondly, if you're only 13 then you shouldn't be expecting to go much further then you've gone. No offense to you or to your choices, but I feel like that is to young to build anything solid. I mean, you've just barely entered puberty ya know? I'm sure you've taken sex ed and know that 13 it's a terrible idea to do anything sexually. That said, I feel like that will overall make your "relationship"pointless. Not to imply that relationships are all about sex, but physical attraction and acting upon those attractions is a huge part of it, and I feel that at such a young age it doesn't apply. My advice, if you like the girl wait till your older. Especially if it was a good friends kind of thing. I made the mistake of dating my best friend at a young age and things just turned akward. I have to say also that three weeks is a little to early to be saying I love you.

Lol I wasn't saying you were going too. Like I said, I'm sure you understand that at a young age it wouldn't be the best idea. I just ever since a young age have always felt like, what is the point of casual dating at a young age? To get the hang of it, yeah I suppose. But to the point where "I love you" is said I just don't think its the best thing. 'Cause we all know that it isn't going to last, and if thats the case why not just be friends? Nothing wrong with practicing kissing / casual dating with friends. I'm not telling you what to do man. If you're happy thats good. I have always taught my younger brothers that dating girls at young age is pointless. Being good friends and learning the ropes is different all together.

I really dislike the notion that 13 is too young to be in a relationship. Obviously at that age, yes, things should not be taken too seriously. As a 13 year-old even I can say that much. But it's still a good experience and it probably gives the people who go out at that age a good sense of things for the future. More mature things like saying that you love someone (which is a bigger thing than it seems, and @the OP, I really don't think you guys should say that you love each other yet) can be taken care of later.

I love you is not an extent for me, I saved her from getting jumped dude, Imma big 13 year old man, I'm 6 feet tall. She's 13 too, and at our point, I love you isn't pushing it. I know I'm porbably WAY too young to say this stuff, but we've been through alot since we've known each other.

Depends on the I love you. You first said 3 weeks, so state more clearly next time lol. It is very possible that you love this girl. But wouldn't you rather stay friends and have a, for lack of a better term, "real" relationship in like 3 years? I'm not telling you what to do bro no need to get defensive. If you're happy thats good for you. I'm just trying to understand your reasoning. Take a neutral point of view and you tell me: Which would YOU prefer? What I say doesn't matter in the long run if you're happy with what you've got.

Depends on who knows about it. If it's between two people, it can last as long as they want it too. That's called friends with benefits.


As for a hookup as in, you are having sex and everyone knows, that all depends on whether or not you or your partner care what other people think. It's all at the discretion of the people who are hooked up. Unless they decide to move it to something more, it doesn't have to change into a relationship. If, for example, the male suddenly had sex with someone other then the person he was "hooked up" with, and she flips out like it wasn't fair, then that is probably due to miscommunication. This often happens when a guy wants a relationship but the girl doesn't (happens more often then you'd think) and the guy says oh alright and then the girl flips. Though, it goes both ways.


Basically no, there is no set length.

The reason I asked was I hooked up with someone and it lasted 6 months, and was constantly asked by others if we were in a relationship and wasn't sure how to answer after a while.
