After playing Brawlhalla for the first time today I can say that I have a new appreciation for the game. I definitely won't be playing it as much as Smash but it's kind of fun once you start learning how to play it. And I probably would've never downloaded Brawlhalla if it wasn't for Rayman's reveal for the game.

Here's to hoping Rayman gets into Ultimate as a newcomer.

For real though, imagining that trailer scenario while reading was fun, I doubt this is real but I hope Rayman would get a trailer similar to this.

You know, with Rayman being my most wanted, and Bowser, my favorite character ever, being his welcoming party, I'd be 200% down for this if it was real.

Yeah I'm sure we all agree that this is most likely fake since there's no evidence to support it. It was a pretty fun thing to read regardless.

Was pretty upset about the fact that Rayman got into Brawlhalla. I thought "They're not going to add him. They gave him to Brawlhalla cause they couldn't get him in Smash."

Then I realized... Brawlhalla is published by Ubisoft. Of course they're going to add their Mascot to their fighting game...

Sure, being a tad disappointed because of expectations makes sense, but are you seriously that much of an ignorant and garbage human being to think that video games are more important than the lives of people. Completely with you there. Nobody should ever prioritise 30+ minutes of what is essentially advertisements for video games over the lives and wellbeing of humans in a natural disaster. Nintendo delayed the direct out of respect for those people; I think it's more than logical for everyone to also respect that decision in return.

I was seeing that "cloud" in K.Rool trailer again since I didn't put any attention to it before (and probably I shouldn't do it now), and I know it's a bit of a stretch to point up something like a cloud for a hint, but we had that Pacman cloud.. (That we still don't know if it was a coincidence or a hint, I think), but I really see Rayman's head, why? xD

There was a similar case with Cloud's reveal in that there were a few Final Fantasy games revealed in the direct before his trailer played. It could be the same case for Rayman? I wouldn't hold my breath personally, but it's something to consider I guess.

IIRC Sonic and Shulk's Smash 4 reveals specifically tied in to other games. However, those were their own games and, well, Rayman doesn't exactly have that luxury right now...

My only hope here is that if Rayman was really in Smash that Nintendo didn't outright force Sakurai to put him in. Instead I hope they brought it up to him "Hey man, the Ubi lads are pretty cool, you know? Think you could do something nice for them?" Then Sakurai would check Rayman's ballot performance, which was without a doubt good outside of Japan, so there he decides to make the pick.

While Guillemot omitted to mention the N64 era, which even had a little-known game of theirs that otherwise was only on PC and GBC (Tonic Trouble), it's undeniable that Ubi has undying loyalty to Nintendo, through thick and through thin.
