Pretty much how I used to feel. When Origins was revealed, it wasn't the Rayman 3 sequel I had been waiting so long for, so I instantly hated it, but I then grew to appreciate it for what it was and I think it's great now. I'm still waiting for a true Rayman 3 sequel, though.I'm the same, really, I don't like Origins or Legends as a game, I just like the background art mostly, because it is indeed beautiful, and as a concept designer I want to become, it is inspiring, but also R1/R2/R3/R4's art as well, even more so because I could experience it as the final product in game (and R4's makes me wish it had come to the final stages of development), and I love it. And I don't care how much RL/RO are praised, it is not enough to make me want to forget about the games that mostly determined what I dream to become in the future.
