In some way, I think a Brawlified Rayman design would look rather...dull...in color compared if he was in Smash 4 color style. Would have liked if he had a bit more of his strawberry ness in his hair.

But still nice to see the R3 model used.

I'd actually love to see a proper Legends/Origins 3D model one day. The trophy one isn't a proper one imo.

Maybe it's a PLACEHOLDER?!....... nah, I'm digging way too deep into it, but still, gotta keep the speculation alive.

Hmmm, the problem I see with the Legends/Origins design is that it was clearly meant to be only seen from a 2D perspective. It just doesn't look right in 3D, while R3 does a much better job at that.

If Rayman does get in, I wonder if they'll alter his trophy design altogether. Or maybe they'll just use Rayman 3, but that's just my wishful thinking.

Once again, eaactly what I think. I just see RO/L design is mostly a 2D thing, and R3 is something I would die from. But most likely, they'll just find a way to use the Legends design most likely.

This is probably sort of right though. I doubt that if Rayman gets in they'd use that model. they'd build him from the ground up.

But, just like we said before, as much as we like R3's appearance, it doesn't matter which one they use in Smash, as long as he's there, some fans will be happy. I, myself, I wouldn't it take any importance whatsoever, since I don't want the game, but I will keep focusing on him in the meantime while I still work in my personal projects, it is either drawing or writing.

You're right as well. Of curse, it doesn't matter, it would be fine for the fans.

I'd only die from a "HD R3 Rayman" model for personal use and such, but, I'm already making one so, again, it doesn't matter all the same.

I can already imagine Rayman having so much trouble learning the ways of the Assassin/Templar.

Now is a good time to let them know! or spy to see how Rayman is doing on them or try to get them to join us c:

Rayman is overwhelming the Dutch group which is great news!

Seems like the support for Rayman is getting bigger and bigger by the second. That's great to hear!

This might be a surprise but in the Netherlands (Belgium, Germany and France as well) Rayman was and is pretty huge
You could ask basically anyone if they've heard of the Rayman games and 90% they'll say yes. And it's not that they react like: 'oh the bunnies?' no they react like: 'That great latformer game with the guy without limbs and a great soundtrack?'

That's honestly really great to know that Rayman is still very much loved around his "homeland", that really does help him when it comes to the ballot in the long run.

Strangely enough The Netherlands has always been kind of a second homeland for Rayman. getting many country exclusive behind the scenes stuff and even a full game that never saw the light of day in other countries (well not exactly that is).
Rayman 100 levels being that game http://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Rayman_100_Levels it was Rayman by his fans bundled with Rayman 60 levels and featured some making of Rayman 2 clips as well as concept art.

the weird thing is that the game only released in the Netherlands while the box also has Frnech text on it and you could put the in game language to English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish

You know, Europe has always gotten the short end of the stick in that not only do they lack a major console manufacturer, but they also get their games very late.
However, one would be wrong to say that they haven't influenced the industry. Ubisoft, Mojang, Crytek, Rare, and Rockstar are some of the biggest names in the industry.
Putting Rayman in Smash would help give Europe the recognition that they deserve.
Of course I love Rayman for being the cool platforming hero that we have all come to love. His design could bring even more diversity to the roster.
I just feel it would be a great thank you to the European gaming industry.
