So, aside from the recent Unseen video upload just today, I guess nothing of interest is going on here.

Pretty much.
One thing about the video is that the idea of Rayman 4 being an interactive world with Rayman being the "players' avatars" reminds me greatly of the scrapped story concept of the original Rayman, in which Rayman is the alter ego of a normal kid named Jimmy. I think that would've been a clever call back on Phoenix's part.

Also, considering how Rayman 4 ended up being scrapped because of Nintendo's announcement of the Wii, does anyone have worries about the upcoming NX and how that might affect anything Rayman related that we have to find out?

That's also was what I got vibes of myself, I thought about that same backstory, since it would technically be going back to "his roots".

And well, as far as I heard, the "NX" is just going to be a "WiiU 2" So, little to any game changing features would most likely be added for the console. Compared to the Wii, which had a whole new gimmick that was vastly different from the Gamecube's control scheme, and Nintendo basically forcing that new motion control feature on Wii made games, that's what basically killed the project in the end, sadly.

So as far as I'm concerned, I don't think we should worry about it.

Probably not, considering the NX is a supposed "third pillar" in terms of Nintendo's consoles, and isn't replacing the Wii U (as of now).

Something random that came to mind... Kinda what I thought about when thinking about the R4 concept and my Animus from AC comparison on Rayman.

Could have done better but...oh well...

In the shoes, there are steering wheels, does it means that maybe the "Shoe Kart" was going to return to Rayman 4? Or maybe it was a kind of bathyscaphe.

I'm going to say it, Submarine Ray/Transformer Ray? Is WAY MORE AWESOME than Starship Mario.

xD Well, it wasn't even a particle of it, so, of course it was crap in comparison.
I do find it a bit weird that Ubisoft and company seemed to have a real big interest in having Rayman ride in things, mainly his shoe of all things. Kind of makes me wish they just kept the shell.

I was watching some episodes of the French animated series "Wakfu", and I couldn't help but compare the show to Rayman because of how aesthetically similar they looked. And then it just hit me: Why the heck isn't there an actual Rayman cartoon?!

There actually was, it was very short lived though.

Well...there actally was a Rayman cartoon... it just didn't go very well.

Just like a lot of old 3D animated cartoons back in the 90s...most of them didn't really go well because of it's execution.
