o__o Geezus...people.
Again, saw that already. ...Still don't like that idea since she should be his mother, but, eh, it's the Origin's version so, whatever.

And if I had to be honest about that "adult" Tily deign, just improve the design with cleaner detail, fixed hair strands and such, and some clothes, and I think it would be pretty ok in my opinion.

Well, he did get frozen at the end of R3...and shattered into pieces... but, it would be cool to see him again.
This is Rayman. Lots more of completely over the top stuff has happened. It wouldn't be impossible to bring him back to life after being shattered into pieces XP

Although it's funny how he's pretty much the only Knaaren you can harm. They're all invincible, yet Rayman is capable of easily beating THE STRONGEST OF THEM ALL.
I thought...that they made him harm-able as a wager of Rayman testing his strengths against the Knaaren? Or am I mistaken?

I don't really think that's it. They really seemed hell bent on finishing off Rayman.
Then I'd just say in game logic. The same kind of logic when in shooting games, people can get shot multiple times, and yet don't die, but in game cutscene you get shot, dead.

It's nothing more than a game thing. I'd say the Heavy Metal Fist was Rayman's way to "over come" the invincibility...or something...

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Perhaps Knaaren are only invincible within the darkness of their caves, the arena being well lit made Reflux vulnerable.

I could be entirely wrong, it's been years since I've played Rayman 3. Were there any lighter areas?

To my knowledge, not really, most of that place was pretty dark...so, that could be one idea of their invincibility.

On the topic of Knaarens, I was terrified of them the first time I saw them. Just their cries and voices, and the fact that you literally couldn't do anything to them and had to run away. Anyone else had a similar experience?

I know how you feel Andrea...

With one's like;

"Stick bamboo under his nails."

"Brain's... Fresh brains..."
=U= I know, >uo and since that Betilla isn't his real mother, my Lil' Ray obviously would prefer to stay with his caretaker.

And then we have the best of them all:

"My dad's stronger than your dad!"

"No, he's not!"

"Will you stop talking about your dads?!"
I found them creepy by concept...although some others may disagree...but, I think they did sound silly...because of the dialog...but I still liked them.

Ah, ok. I get it now, good idea. And besides, the real Betilla is a Fairy, not a Nymph. So...neh. I rather Lil Ray stay with Shay then that other thing.

EDIT: Ugh, I can't keep up with all these posts...

I think that Knaarens are inmortals but you don't fight him, you have to "break" his "magic stick?" to defeat him, and in the final battle you have to hit him in the sceptre to defeat him, so you don't fight him "directly".

That's right, you knock his staff out of his hands to wale on him afterwards.
