Funny since I see Rayman as the SpongeBob of video game mascots because of his unusual design and his happy-go-lucky personality. Not to mention, the jokes and logic don't make sense, much like SpongeBob.

Here's some R4 art I've found.
And I know this one was shown before, but I noticed something I didn't before.
I noticed "Dark Rayman" on some of the pillars in the background. So I guess D. Ray was going to appeared in R4, and this may have been his liar or something...

Those concept arts are pretty cool. I would have loved to play through such levels if the game they were in was made.

Yeah, they wasted all the potential it probably would have had, I don't know, it would have been the perfect Rayman game since it combined elements from the Original Trilogy. I think it was because it lacked of enemies and then the Rabbids came to the scene.

Yeah, besides "Dark Rayman" I wonder what enemies could have been thought of for R4? They went from "Inhabitants" in R1, to Robots in R3, then "Scarecrow" like creatures the Black Lums transform into...it's quite intriguing what could have came next....if it wasn't going to be the Rabbids...

I hope you mean that Rayman's the Spongebob of the GOOD era. The one video game character I can see representing as the current BAD Spongebob is Sonic. No offense, though.
So this was suppose to be the pilot of the Rayman TV show, namely the episode "No Parking". Well, I'm glad that the final version doesn't look like that. Rayman's design looks nothing like he does now.

The show was good, the one thing I hated was his companions, I didn't like them xD, I'd like to see a show like the one they created but with Globox, Ly, Clark, Teensies and other characters.
