...Ugh, so much for that then... ._.Ah, man. I hate to disappoint you but they are live-action...

Then again, everyone thought K. Rool was a shoo-in for Smash 4, yet we all know what happened at the end.1. I don't know how much that matters but a little at least so I agree.
2. No argument.
3. That's definitely not the only reason either.
4. Yep
5. Um, well he's second most requested 3rd party overall but, yes, most popular newcomer is correct.
K. Rool is freaking IN, banking on it. He's currently the most requested Newcomer, and then Isaac I believe. Honestly, K. Rool is way more likely than Rayman.
Really...? Why? For God's sake...they can make the most realistic looking CGI ever and they resource to that? I'm dissapointed.Ah, man. I hate to disappoint you but they are live-action...

:/ If they make any Rayman movies in anyway like the damned Smurfs movies...I'll be highly disappointed....Really...? Why? For God's sake...they can make the most realistic looking CGI ever and they resource to that? I'm dissapointed.
>__> I better go watch Assassin's Creed: the Musical...
And well, at least with Rayman thank God they can't do that...
I was honestly thinking about that.....If Ubi does something as bad as the Smurfs movies, better use the Rabbids for it, not Rayman.:/ If they make any Rayman movies in anyway like the damned Smurfs movies...I'll be highly disappointed....
We've got a section for that.Hey @ JamesDNaux
Would it be possible for some of us to request our fanart to the OP, maybe under some spoilers tags?
Oh...you mean the Creative Section? We've got a section for that.
It maybe due to the likes of the Looney Tune movies/ Space Jam/ Who framed Rogue Rabbit is because I can't take them seriously (they don't try to be at least) is why I'm fine with them. But agreed, I want a Rayman movie full CGI...Speaking of realistic / CGI movies, I liked the Looney tunes one, is a mix of CGI and realistic (I think). But if is a Rayman movie, I'd like to see it entire CGI scenes.
Yep, specifically under "Rayman by his Fans."Oh...you mean the Creative Section?
If you don't mind, I'd like any of my stuff added to the section as well.Yep, specifically under "Rayman by his Fans."
I could add all of your Raymanified pictures if you want, just put them all together in a spoiler and It'll be up in a jiffy.
Awesome backstory there. This is why I really want Rayman to join no matter what others say. I don't really care who else joins Smash Bros that people have voted for. As long as Rayman gets in sooner, the happier I will be. I've first got into Rayman when I was a little kid that my aunt bought me Rayman Forever on the PC. Rest her soul. Even before that, I was fascinated with him when I played Rayman 1 at a store demo in the local mall.MY BACKSTORY WITH RAYMAN IN SUPER SMASH BROS. 4 ~ Part 1
I've wanted Rayman in Smash 4 since before it was shown off at E3 2013, and during the pre-release hype train I dreamed and wondered how and when Rayman would be shown off. When I first saw the trailers for and , I honestly hoped that Rayman would make a surprise appearance at the end. Each Nintendo Direct was a spark of hope for me, and I honestly thought he would be announced during the Smash Bros. Direct that took place exactly a year ago today (the one that confirmed these guys ). Then, E3 2014 came around and I knew that would be confirmed and no one else when it comes to third-party. I was still hyped for the game, don't get me wrong, but the lack of the Limbless Wonder really started to bother me. A month later, BAM, a new character announcement was to be coming July 14, 2014. Holy moly, was I hyped! I said to myself "this is it, what more could they possibly announce that's not Rayman?" Then, I checked Miiverse, and everyone was talking about how the Xenoblade Chronicles developers retweeted Sakurai's post about the character announcement. "It's over," I said to myself, "Rayman is not going to be in Smash". I woke up July 14, 2014 and rushed to my phone expecting to go onto the Smash website and see Shulk as a newcomer, but to my surprise, it was actually two Fire Emblem newcomers and the return of Captain Falcon . I felt a rush of excitement knowing that the surprise wasn't actually spoiled because of the tweet. I logged onto Miiverse to see the reactions of everyone else. I was scrolling down on my activity feed page when it happened. When someone first mentioned Rayman in one of their posts in the Smash Bros. Community on Miiverse, my heart stopped. Then, I started freaking out and running around the house telling everyone about the Rayman trophy. When I checked Sakurai's Miverse page to see if the rumors were true, I saw it, the POTD with Rayman's trophy, and it was glorious. That day was the day Rayman finally became a part of the Smash Universe.
PART 2 COMING SOON!!!
If you could throw it all together in a post as well, I'll have it up too.If you don't mind, I'd like any of my stuff added to the section as well.
HAHAHA....it is who framed ROGER rabbit....not ROGUE rabbit....xDIt maybe due to the likes of the Looney Tune movies/ Space Jam/ Who framed Rogue Rabbit is because I can't take them seriously (they don't try to be at least) is why I'm fine with them. But agreed, I want a Rayman movie full CGI...

Thank you so much. :3
haha, then I think you need more of your "Beauty Sleep", PRINCESS. xDThank you James. I appreciate it. These are all I can get from what I posted here (I'll post the other ones I did a bit later after this...
Well, excuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess. I'm tired....
Edit: A few more;
.____. Wtf....If they ever do a live-action Rayman film, I doubt it would look any worse than this (granted it is pretty good for a fan-made video, Rayman just looks a bit off in it.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK084Hzk6i8
xD Haha. Oh, you.haha, then I think you need more of your "Beauty Sleep", PRINCESS. xD
I like it-I like it.BTW, while you discussing about Rayman in movies and whatnot, I've gotten back to Smash Bros Wii U after a couple months hiatus and made this:
I'm sure it'll be better than most live-action VG movies. It actually has direction.Really...? Why? For God's sake...they can make the most realistic looking CGI ever and they resource to that? I'm dissapointed.
>__> I better go watch Assassin's Creed: the Musical...
And well, at least with Rayman thank God they can't do that...
I' love Embers and also I like so much Assassin's Creed lineage (realistic movie).I'm sure it'll be better than most live-action VG movies. It actually has direction.
And, if you haven't seen it already, watch Assassin's Creed Embers, great movie.
Well, if you say so...I may attempt to look myself someday...I'm sure it'll be better than most live-action VG movies. It actually has direction.

Are you a AC fan yourself?I' love Embers and also I like so much Assassin's Creed lineage (realistic movie).
Yep, I love the AC saga, his games are jewels for me, I love how you interact with the incidents of the history. Are you a AC fan yourself?
oh, awesome. xD Glad to hear, same with me, I got interested into the series thanks the @ AndreaAC introducing me to some of the characters, like Ezio and Shay, despite her not playing the games herself. But the games are quite interesting, and I like it going through historical events, reminds me of Age of Empires that way..Yep, I love the AC saga, his games are jewels for me, I love how you interact with the incidents of the history.
Which version did you play?Remember how I said I never beated Rayman 2?
Well, I finished it over Spring Break, and it was amazing.
First and foremost, I was shocked by how dark the game was. Combine that with how Rayman doesn't use his fists in the game, and you could say that Rayman 2 is the Majoras Mask of the franchise.
Secondly, I love how rewarding it is for you to explore the area around you. The game is difficult, but when you finally bust open every cage and collect every lum, you feel extremely satisfied.
Overall, I really liked it. It was slightly less fun than Legends, but it more than made it up for in difficulty.
I was going to suggest the same question, as Revolution is the one I played first, and loved to death. But after playing The Great Escape a while back....I miss the dialog... Still as awesome as I remember...but I think Revolution is the superior version...Which version did you play?
There are several differences in each version, but it's entirely subjective as to which is the best.Rayman Revolution.
I played the N64 version.Which version did you play?

Rayman Revolution is The Great Escape for the PS2, a updated port of the N64 version. They added more things, like dialog, enhanced graphics, and some other things, I believe. I'd recommend that at some point, imo...I played the N64 version.
You know, the first console it was ever on.

I first played the PS1 version back in the day (I was still young and I the first game on the PS1 was the first game I ever owned for myself, so when I saw Rayman 2, I had to pick it up). I actually just beat the N64 version on an emulator not long ago, it definitely felt fresh with all the different things (like that rail chair part). Revolution pretty much takes all the best parts from each version.I played the N64 version.

Also, it was Rayman's first appearance on a Nintendo console.I played the N64 version.

The first Rayman was originally planned as an SNES game with co-op. His history with Nintendo goes before his actual start. Also, it was Rayman's first appearance on a Nintendo console.
