I know. Sorry about it. It's in my nature to help people, and especially my friends... But it really wasn't a big deal to do, but anyways, no problem Andrea. Anything for a friend of mine.

The OP is getting way past the point of convenience to edit..

I wonder if I could take over the second post in the thread so I could move some things to it for convenience.

Oh. I didn't know something like that could happen...if you need to, do as you can. But again, thank you for all you've done for us, and please, don't over do it if it's too much to handle. We can understand...

Not at all.

It looks all nice and neat in the OP, but when I go to edit it, there's a lot of scrolling.

xD I wish I knew, honestly! and sorry about the Nightmare fuel!
Well, to everyone here, if I could ask if any of Rayman's designs over the years, both game and trailer render models could be used in Smash, which one would some most likely just from design alone? I would think the R3 design is the most "structured" to be used for Ray's design in Smash, imo.

Either the Rayman 3 design or the Origins/Legends design (which is basically a more cartoony version of the 3 design).

That is true... but as from what I seen, the only thing that makes the current design look good so far is Artsy's Ray, which is not really a 3D model...but if it can be done, I would accept it if it could look like that in 3D without looking weird, like in Smash...

I once gave a 3D modeler that trophy model to rig it and put into a T-pose. He complained about all the asymmetry in the Origins/Legends design.

I actually think the original Rayman trophy that they showed in the POTD looked perfect.

Drunk face aside, it captured the Origins/Legends art style in 3D really well.

I assume the one we have in Smash 4 now replaced this one, right? Cause I would like to see how this model looks at all angles, especially with how his mouth looks atm...But imo, you do make a point that it does kinda look better...

My favorite design for Rayman is his Legends design. But I may just be a bit biased towards that game since it's my favorite in the series. In fact, it's currently my favorite 2D platformer on the WiiU!

Was this trophy the one Ubisoft made and the one we got now by Sakurai or the other way around? I think that one is made by Sakurai and the one we have is done by Ubisoft...
Sakuari mentioned the one in the POTD was the one sent by Ubisoft, not sure if the current one was also made by them.
My guess would probably be the facial expression. He does look a little...drunk in the original trophy.
If that were the case, couldn't they just change the eyes instead of the whole model?

Those trophies make me wonder. Mewtwo's in-game model is completely different from his trophy model. Would the same thing happen with Rayman?

Rayman 3 design confirmed.

I'm sure it has to, since that Smash trophy model is too low-rez to be used and proportions are weird...
