SMALL ONLINE BRAWL TOURNY

depending on how many people wanna join will decide how big it will be going to a maximum of 32

RULES&INFO:

• METAKNIGHt is now alowed but no infinite cape trick
  
• 3 stocks.... 8 minutes
  
• items set to off and none
  
• If a match ends through Dededecide, Bowsercide, Kirbycide, DK’s Cargo Hold then the one who initiated the move is declared the victor. even if it ends in sudden death and other player wins it dosent count
  
• double elimination
  
• if lag is unbearable and both players agree to stop ill flip a coin to get winner
  
• have fun
  
• sadly no prizes but soon there is sure to be in later tournies

TIME:

after we are full on people it will be a few days or so after that so everyone knows the date

the next fight and so on....during the time that you arent in a mtach you can brawl
others or just talk and etc...

Define the severity of spamming. Link using projectiles over and over is considered spamming to some, but some people consider it as a method in order to force an opening to capitalize on (aka, it's part of his gameplay). Either define this greatly, or don't bother trying to enforce it at all.

Either way, I'm in. I want to know how I'd fare in this.

Don't join if you MIGHT be able to do matches. That's just plain showing that you're not interested. You'll be taking the spot of someone who actually wants to take this seriously.

What you said before implies otherwise. It pretty much says "Meh, I'll try to do my matches, but I might have more important things to do so I may have to blow them off."

And btw this is a ONE-DAY tourney. So if you can't make it on that day, then you shouldn't enter this anyway.

pickle if its a 16 tourney then only the first match can be done not in chat but rest of the tourny is done in a chat room if it comes out being a 32 tourney then half the matches will be done online and the rest will be done in a chat

Like Josh said define spam, because if spam in this case is olimar countinously throwing pikmin for like 4 secs straight then this is gay. But if spam is (Any of olimar's disadvantages) characters countinously doing f-air, plummers wearing green doing a spinning like tornado, a female in a dress kicking in a repetitive motion or a head with a sword then okay

It's better to just remove the spamming rule altogether. There's no way to enforce it and if someone is spamming a move, that move is being staled to the point of no longer being a threat, and if people can't get past the spam then it's their loss and they need to play better.

That said, I will learn the Olimar, Sheik, Snake, and Zelda matchup someday.

And I might join this, but I've got a few other tourneys to keep up with (one of them being my own), but why the 10-entry count? That means that somebody is getting a free bout until a round passes, which in a small-scale tourney could lead to unfair advantages.
