I would suggest changing it to something that doesn't immediately scream trouble, especially since Isaac is still not confirmed, which a 100% chance effectively says.

I would recommend leaving the rates alone. It's their opinion and no one who plays this game, emphasis on the word game, should be asked to change their ratings on account of people blowing it up into a debate. Besides, I saw equally optimistic rates on K. Rool's day and no one was asked to change their scores there. How is this day any different?

He's at complete liberty to disregard my suggestion and I'm not forcing it upon him, but seeing as the thread devolved into a giant flame war on one user during Isaac's first rerate because of the same circumstance(one hugely supportive person rates Isaac 100%), it's at least fair to make an attempt to prevent history repeating. To top it off, the perpetrator from last time recognized his mistake, and rated Isaac more reasonably this time. The rating sticks out like a sore thumb, especially when like-minded fans are rating reasonably as well.

I won't force him to change it. But it's a suggestion, nothing else.

Haven't visited this thread for quite a while and we are re-rating Isaac, again, for the 3rd time -_-

Want: 100%
His awesome earth manipulating powers, god summoning Djinns, and earth rending weapon unleashes make him far too interesting to not have. Plus I absolutely love Golden Sun and have been rooting for him since forever so this rating is never going to drop down.

Chance: 50%
Despite the recent Mii costume fiasco with K. Rool, I still believe the Ballot will give Isaac a fair chance, putting it at 50%. He's pretty popular, has pretty decent western support and Japanese support, despite being small, still exists. The franchise still has a future despite what a lot think, and although he wasn't AT (which many people have called bad news) didn't nuke him from getting a playable chance as DLC.

Although I (and tons of GS fans) have already said this all before, I will repeat it. Isaac can still rock the party in Smash.

Again, My opinion at least for this game. Just because we practically have 3 Marths now. If the next game cuts them, I'm okay. Really just my own thoughts, Sorry. ((I always preferred characters with physical abilities or powers I guess.))

Pretty much ones who don't really need a weapon to begin with. Plus I am kind of bitter with the amount of Swordfighters already, seeing them online almost all the time doesn't make it better.

And you do realise that Isaac doesn't need to use a sword to manipulate the Earth, use Vines or create psynergy hands, right?

Besides, if the sword bugs you that much, he can also use axes or maces.

I'd be very interested to see Sakurai try to pull off a full on geomancy/psynergy/earth magic moveset with Isaac and forgo the sword entirely, not that I just instinctively hate swords (I'd prefer if new characters brought more to the table), but I'd just be interested in seeing how Isaac's moveset would work outside of Specials using his magic. Weapons are part of his character though, as far as I can tell, so it's not much issue.

I don't suppose you can change a want rating can you? I've been warming up to Isaac lately. Thinking about bumping it up to 50%. Would be happy if he was in but not shaken up if he wasn't.

Unique, heavily requested, i longer an Assist Trophy (albeit absent), and Golden Sun has one of those really loud cult followings. But the only real problem is the uncertainty of GS's future and one of our "original" forth runners got the costume treatment.

Easily one of the more interesting characters that can fit in Smash, plus I loved the early Golden Sun games. You don't see anyone asking for Matthew (who's probably the same, but inferior), so Isaac is arguably the best representative for Golden Sun.

Mike is from an obscure third-party title which I doubt was particularly groundbreaking. He's unlikely even for first-party standards, but being third-party worsens things to the point it's downright impossible. I don't want him, he'd be too random.
And for Tyrantrum, while this Pokémon is decently popular, there's literally no reason to choose it asides from "moveset potential" which is something 90% of the Pokémon may claim. I don't have anything against Tyrantrum as a Pokémon, but as a Smash choice it'd be too random for my liking.

Tyrantrum is a random Pokemon out of many in the franchise. I like the Pokemon, but I don't want it for Smash.
