It's pretty good, but something really bothers me about the drums on almost all the songs you've posted from this genre. They sound robotic (I'm guessing they are all triggered and quantized), it doesn't sound like a human playing an actual instrument.
Some of them do so, but others actually perform like that, that's how the genre does it at times. Though I can see why you would think that. They're still alright, al things considered.

Anyway, on the song posted above, I give it 6.5/10.

A rather nice, soothing track of piano from the series. Good to know that it has 'helped' out, I guess to some people in a way, hehe. Props~

Then, after that, I'll leave this song here. Recommended for those that are fans of Modern Metal and Rock.

4.5/10. Forgettable modern metal song with generic riffs and a message that every modern metal band has touched upon at least a hundred thousand times; rebellion against power. Not to mention the lyrics are quite general, safe, and boring.

I'd post the album version but it's pretty different so it can technically be considered a different song.

also TPAB is probably album of the year loool

Woah that was pretty excellent, I have not been keeping up with Kendrick Lamar, Interesting composition through the whole song. 9/10

I don't know why I like this song recently. The track is frantic, raw, intentionally repetitive and simple.

7.75/10 Farrell Williams is one of the few R&B artists that I know and actually like a decent amount of content from.

8.5/10 - FF soundtracks are always great, and FF7 is DEFINITELY no exception.

This is definitely my favorite FF theme as it translates to piano, a vast array of emotions and styles.

This track I'm posting I'm always surprised at how popular it got, almost mainstream when it was at it's prime. He does have a very unique deep voice.

5/10 - I can practically hear the drugs through the video. It's very... Stylized... But that's not necessarily a good thing.
7.5/10

EDIT: New rating from the ninja.

7/10 I'd give more feedback, I really don't know what to say. It sounds good, it's just not my thing.

4.5/10.

Intriguing. It sounds alright for 8.bit-electronicy type of song, I'll give it that much. Not sure if something I'd hear that often in comparison to what I hear, but yeah.

Anyway, I'll leave this here-

7/10 - I really like the instruments, and I would probably rate it higher if I spoke Japanese (depending on the lyrics).

8.5/10.

Damn. I'll be honest. Going into the track, I didn't expect much from it, but once it actually started I was blown away. It is really good. The instruments, the melody, and the voice. GOD, THE VOICE of the vocalist are so great. I guess I'm going to check them out since I quite liked the song.

On that note, I'll leave this track from this band known as Skyviews-

I'll give this song 8/10. Before I clicked the video to watch it, I was expecting a mediocre song, but I found it to be a better song than expected.

I'll leave this video here and see what someone else has to say about it.

Not really a fan of music parodies. Very rarely on Youtube are they authentically great, usually they are just lazily re-written songs to make some quick easy money off the original's popularity. The middle guy was good here, the rest were pretty uninspired.

7.5/10 - It was catchy, but seemed a bit repetitive for a four and a half minute song. I got a good laugh at 1:22, though, because Rod Stewart accidentally slapped the guitarist with the mic stand.

At first I thought he did also, but I think it just looks that way at a glance. The guitarist is in the back facing the drummer (I'm guessing he needed help hearing the beat in the live setting), then Rod just swings it back then forward. Maybe he did tap him lightly, haha....

Good lyrics, really liked the stripped down pseudo acapella middle part. The backing track was way too loud and overwhelming in the first half.

5/10 - If you're gonna do a cover, make it as good as (if not, fairly close to the quality of) the original. This is nowhere close.

This video is not available/10.

I listened to another track from them and they're somewhat alright, though. If I have to rate another song, then it has to be the one above to actually listen in the topic and keep it going on the topic, then...

^^THAT SONG SUCKS/-10

I CAN'T STAND THE BARENAKED LADIES...

Anyway, I'll leave this track here-

Well it's ok, but really repetitive. There are so many more amazing tracks on that OST though.

Of all their songs, this is one of my favorite.
9/10

I found this song that was made only using 2A03 chips from NES/Famicom consoles.

Say, remember the time when Vanilla Ice tried to make a Nu Metal version of Ice Ice Baby?

Me too...

Fun and catchy the first time I heard it, but I feel like it isn't as good as I thought back then when this came out on the radio years back. Thier newst stuff is forgettable and honestly, not interested enough for it.

...

Anyway, I'll leave this track here-

It's a nice fluffy space re-imagining, I actually prefer the original chip-set sounds of the SNES on most Starfox stuff. Sounded cleaner and had more punch IMO.

It always surprises me that most don't know this song, I think it's one of Bad Religion's best as far as their mainstream stuff goes...
