The Zombie face camo texture is the only one I've ever used. I haven't seen many others that stand out for me.

I gotta figure out how to make my own textures. Snake doesn't get enough love when it comes to texture hacking.

The only ideas I have are more of the MGS3 camos. Maybe some of the downloadable ones. Like the Mummy camo or Grenade camo. Grenade camo would fit Snake perfectly with all the freakin' nades he uses. I think I've used like 3 grenades max in any run of any MGS game, yet in a single match of Brawl, I use like 50.

I'm also disappointed in the lack of a tuxedo Snake. Shouldn't that be a priority? That and Ga-Ko definitely.


I don't think anything beats the Zombie face paint texture though in terms of awesomeness. I love that one. The ones I've heard here so far are awesome for laughs and all, but if you're going for a badass look, Zombie all the way.

The box is in the common3_en.pac in the system files. It extracts as 059.pac but shhould be inserted as 063.pac. You can find Snake's grenades in FitSnake.pac

Go to the alpha channel and use the magic wand tool to select all the black areas. Color these magenta then index it to a 256 color palette.

I like metal gear but I was annoyed at sonic being in, and yeah more nintendo characters would have been better, also annoyed that characters like game and watch, ice climbers, and ROB are in but characters like ridely(too big) and mewtwo aren't, or even some other notable nintendo characters...

I also think mega man and crono would've made more sense as third party characters, much bigger tie to nintendo...I like snake anyway though. Snake, MK, and ZSS were the newcomers I was most excited about...I fail at ZSS though, I think I like playing Diddy and Pit more.

I've yet to play beyond the first mission in any Metal Gear. When I first picked up Snake [two days before the actual US release], it was because my casual friends were complaining that my Marth was too good since they were learning new characters. So, I decided that I would use Snake since he was completely different from anything I saw in the game. During one of the first Smashfests that I went to, no one was using Snake and would make comments about my play style.

"Does he even hit the A button?"

I kept on saying to everyone, "I don't know how, but I'll figure out how to make Snake a great tournament viable tournament!"

Moral of the story? My Snake is awesome, and my Marth is utter ****. =D

I thought the same. I honestly thought that I was playing a low tier character for the first few weeks. Sure, I was mortar sliding day the moment it was found out, but I hadn't found his tilts. I was totally reliant on Down B and land mines for kills.
