You seem to be lost on the difference between playing Snake correctly and playing Ally's Snake correctly, it's an unwritten portion to the entire mix that throws all logic out the window, once you find the hidden secret, make use of it, don't fear it, embrace it.

It's the easier version to finding the secret to Taj's Mewtwo.
