good summary bob.
sea I'm going to have to disagree with you here. The point of these events is Ganondorf, dropping Ganondorf matches to play other games would be unacceptable. I think the only problem on saturday was starting everything too late.. people got disinterested because singles didn't start til after 9.00.. if doubles had started at 3.00 like planned we could have had the bbq at 6.00 and started singles by 7.00 then played other games like smash64, sf4 and that ridiculous wizard game ben and co were playing upstairs after that. We were there at 1.00, a few people turned up around 3.00 and most people didnt turn up til 6.00 which ****ed everything up. Even tho some people said to start doubles without them, we couldnt because we didnt have enough numbers.. if it happens again I think postponing doubles is the best option then playing it after singles if people are still interested. ALSO, no ganon challenge.. WTF!?
Apart from that, I thought everything went terrific. More food, more drinking, less wizard hurling, more GANONDORF! Much thanks to bob and james for letting us hold the tourney at their house, extra thanks to james (and whoever else) for cooking the meat (and making me lol hard when he was raging at golden eye - PLEASE upload that video vyse). I'll put up the results when I get them off vyse, here's hoping the next DORF OFF will be even bigger and better!
