We should really focus on making the actual DH hidden. That way we can discuss PG noms freely without the potentials reading our posts (which is a tad awkward), and it gives them incentive to join a exclusive debate club.

Also, if we do become private, we can have a small fun social thread like a Las Pictoras - I'd love to see pictures of some of you guys. Some of us have rambled at each other for years and never known who we're actually talking to.

CK, why aren't members of the Debate Hall given access to the PG in the first place? I can see you want newer members to prove themselves before being granted access here, but if you consider DH members superiorly equipped in debating skills, why can't we show 'em ourselves a taste of our medicine? I'd rather judge someone's abilities by facing them than just watching over what they can say in response to someone else.
