Maybe a arrow in there if it looks like your rang is gonna hit and not just be a hitbox wall

Bomb is only good for throwing up, taunting and catching it.

;)
It may not be the most effective thing to do, but I always loved tossing a bomb up, then grabbing and doing an u-throw into the falling bomb.

Yes, that too.

When playing with my casual friends, who demand 4 player FFA with items >_>, I always do this with any item I have.

What I liked about Link is how versatile he could be. You can play him mad defensive and just spam projectiles from afar, get all up in the opponent's face with his melee attacks, or a combination of the two. Usually I play the in-the-middle style, but one of the things I like doing the most is throwing opponents off by switching my playstyle in the middle of a match, and Link I thought was great for that. I could be playing a relatively conservative Link one minute, then switch into full-on GERM style and kick ***, and upon taking a stock playing keep away with the boomerang and bombs.

Can't wait to do all of this with a much more powerful Link. My friends will be guaranteed to not want me to play him anymore lol

Lol yeah. I'm really happy with what they did with him. Changed all the things they needed to imo, lol. I just hope he can get a slightly longer grab range someday, but if not, then oh well. It would be for a reason.
Lol it was an inside joke. Sb has been telling me to start on a pika write up but I've been busy everytime he told me to.

I think I remember talking to you on the pika thread about p:m pika before.

Turnips Brawl's engine was not kind to Peach's turnips - they disappeared when hitting a shield and overall had worse physics. It was natural that their unique characteristics, physics, and interaction with shields be matched to Melee's turnips. Peach veterans will find that her turnip game has even been buffed somewhat - the additions of glide tossing and aerial glide tossing complement classic maneuvers such as the Vidjo-drop. Peach's vegetable barrage has never been harder to counteract.
This little segment does not seem to clarify for me whether or not her turnips will actually act like they did in melee. Anything more get posted about this?

It implies that they do work like Melee against shields, which is interesting because that was one of the known issues that they posted about, but they kept it quiet when it was fixed.

Ok
one last time before I get annoying.
Can somebody
[Collapse=please]make ganon's grab-attack deal 3 damage like it's supposed to instead of 2?[/collapse]
I played with eternal yoshi yesterday and it was still set to this value.

I know that it's nitpicky and small and silly to care about it
But it's wrong.
Wrong I tell you

Link's bombs are an effective pressure tool. There are some good setups for shield pressure when you couple bombs with boomerangs (especially on their way back) and the N-air or B-air. They also help a lot with mid-range projectile game.

This, I'm the exact same way with Link........that is when I play someone good(which I haven't in years and that was Melee) now all I do is play mad offensively

Oooh, 400+ ppl online will be funsies.

By the way, Link is baws. He's recieved so many QoL changes that he's a pretty solid character without his projectiles; the good ones won't try chasing people down constantly unless they're at hi % though obv. Simply put, he dwarfs Melee and N64 Link. He's a beast of an all-around character now, alongside mario.

I personally think that a pro Link that can use every single one of his moves in the right place at the right time will prove him to be one of the best characters in this game. I'm eagerly waiting to see if this will hold true.

P:M team! Help quell some anxiety by telling us about what stages we can expect! I'm gathering music now, and it'd be really useful! For instance - any levels that look snowy/cold? Wanna make sure I put Phendrana Drifts music in the right spot.

And we don't even have news of the approximate time that the demo may come out yet. Just wail til the end of the day approaches and people start getting anxious.

Every stage we've seen will make it in so no worries about that.

@HDT just hope the anxiety doesn't cause a lock like last time.
