Question about the stages: will the revised version of Rumble Falls from the original demo still be an option? That is one of my favorite stages to play in from any iteration of Smash

*shakes head* This is what I meant to say, but what I typed above came out instead. My mistake.Um, no he definitely doesn't get his second jump back.
If you double jump and side b sweetspot someone, all you can do after that is Up B. He just goes into his normal fall. It does not restore a jump. So if you just do 1 jump (from the ground) and side b sweetspot, then you could jump after the side b.
To that I'd say "Well, it IS their tournament." I think most people would see it as an option between the stages. There are already a vast number of stages in PM that could be categorized as "neutral" using Melee criteria. Only choose 5 or 7 for neutrals or whatever is already going to be part of the PM experience. As for counterpicks? This version of Battlefield has improved ledges that don't cause missed grabs like in Melee (at all, to my knowledge), so it's mostly just the size of the stage "wall" that's different, and it's not much. TBH I'd be arguing for it to be included as an optional retexture of Brawl BF, but why not just include a more Melee-exact version alongside it and let people play on whichever one they prefer? Are TOs really gonna choose one or the other? I can imagine some of them (who don't have a personal investment in either version in particular) making them both legal because "hey, they're both neutrals, so why not".
That and people can now grab the ledges backwards in special fall. Id love a melee BF that doesn't screw you sideways. This version of Battlefield has improved ledges that don't cause missed grabs like in Melee (at all, to my knowledge), so it's mostly just the size of the stage "wall" that's different, and it's not much.
I support this.Trying to drum up more support for such an obviously good idea. This is a simple thing to implement (will take about 10 minutes to completely finalize), and if you guys want to see it, let us know.
...we should get plenty of good info on thursdayHoping for another big Demo 2 update post in the next couple days, as I'll be watching hockey like a good canadian boy on wednesday. We are getting pretty close to release!

Option? Rumble Falls+ replaces Rumble Falls. And yes, the Rumble Falls+ in Demo 2 will have the extended boundaries/whatever other changes have been made to it since Demo 1.Question about the stages: will the revised version of Rumble Falls from the original demo still be an option? Yeah, because the reason we haven't implemented Melee's camera is because we're too lazy, not because we have not been able to accurately replicate it.Will u guys include or release an optional melee camera with the demo? Cuz that would be amazing. Im not a huge fan of the camera u guys have set up, no offense.

Awesome. I can't wait for Demo 2. I didn't play much of Demo 1 but I reopened it the other day to prep for Demo 2...then my buddy and I played it for over 6 hours...can't wait to see what's changed since.Option? Scar is the thing where you can sideB through the ledge of a stage, right? You can still do that. Can Wolf still scar, lightstep, and all those other ATs he has in Brawl?
That looks pretty cool. I can't tell how difficult that is to do though.Lightstepping was a thing you could do with his sideB where you would appear to bounce off the edge, but regain your second jump, etc.

Same here... I am actually listening to different brstms right now. I need to get a pen and paper and write down some of the ones I like.Time to get my brstms ready.
I suggest using Notepad++, or even just Notepad. It's a bit easier than paper. Just copy/paste the brstm guide from the music hub and you get a list that's really easy to keep track of.Same here... Lucky you. I've gotten into the habit of looping nearly all of the .brstms that I use in game, partially because I'm a semi-perfectionist in that I want them to sound just right, and partly because most of my music stems from tracks that I doubt are looped on Brawl Vault (certain OverClocked ReMix tracks, Dwelling of Duels, etc.). I lost nearly all of my custom loops in a hard drive crash, and haven't been motivated to many many since. Almost needless to say, I have quite a bit of work ahead of me.Same here... I have a word document compiling all my custom textures and music just like that. Unfortunately, I have no idea what stages are replacing what with demo 2, so it's tough to know what music should go whereI suggest using Notepad++, or even just Notepad.
