Combos in this game are way too free, it makes it less enjoyable to watch
But Prof just makes the game 10x more enjoyable to watch so it actually evens out

Big house is pretty hype, stopped watching after axe got 9th though :s
Wolf is the hypest character, and not the cheesiest
Can't wait for 3.5, damn. Smash 4 is only fueling my desire for melee/3.5 tbh.
The only character I truly enjoy playing so far is Jiggs, because I dont have to even think about the abysmal ground game and can just weave around and have fun playing zone control.

Holy ****, Fox and Falco's English voices are ****ing horrible in Smash 4.
Maybe I'm just so used to the Brawl voices after all these years rather than the Starfox 64 ones.

True, but for that same reason I have to wonder whether or not doubles would really enable infinite chaingrabs if team damage was left off.
I know, right? Fox' is almost sort of okay if only 'cause he's straight out of Star Fox 64, but Falco's just plain doesn't sound like Falco. Super disappointing.

at the very least, prof's success this tournament shows that the project m we all signed up for is still in this mess, somewhere
like you watch that m2k vs. junebug match that was a complete mess in pacing by comparison to his matches, and its excitement is night and day

3 stocks were just not enough for Prof vs Zero, but 3 stocks were just right for m2k vs junebug. There is no set stock amount that will work for every match up lol. Characters in this game are on opposite ends of the spectrum, which is pretty cool imo. Although m2k vs june was painful to watch

sanic is like DDD's worst matchup and is part of the reason I quit DDD sadly

Oh boy, I think the PMDR is making a big mistake here.
[DISCLAIMER this is just some guy's opinion I don't actually matter]
I understand not wanting to step on Nintendo's toes. I understand concerns about C&D. But like it or not, Project M is competing with Smash 4. It's a brand new game with brand new content that's siphoning off attention and hype. Melee is growing and Smash 4 is almost certainly going to be huge. We've never had three Smash games with strong scenes coexisting at the same time, and while the community is bigger now than it's ever been, there's no guarantee PM won't become the marginalized third child of the competitive scene.
So when you have the opportunity to showcase brand new content to 30K people, you take that opportunity. It's no secret new content's finished for 3.5 and Strong Bad didn't much try to hide that fact. Think they made the wrong call withholding a trailer.

Best spacie dittos we will see for a while. So much passion/intuition and DI reads that made that set and all the combos so amazing.
