I was talking about chain mail :) also falchions are swords and they are quite effective against armor. some of the more fancy ones where even double edged
Duh, but expecting Smashers to know anything about how combat/weapons/military tech works is stoopid.

Goddamn am I depressed after finishing Saikano. I should sleep, but I don't think I can. I've gotta watch silly YouTube videos to get my mind off of things or something

Someone on my school bus had the Smash demo and we just played, it was my first time versus someone. We actually went back and forth with matches.

Sigh.... my Circle Pad cover came off.... the circle pad itself isn't chipped thankfully, but I needs a new cover. I still have the old one, but...... It's not staying on.

RUINING EVERYTHING WITH EVERYBODY ELSE
All of those trailers are stupid as hell.
I think they're cool

i don't speak wapanese so i consulted google and it doesnt know either. please clarify.
You thought viejo was a japanese word?!

All of those trailers are stupid as hell.
I'd rather take these than "Look at that nice, fun, loving family playing Smash Bros with each other." Also the Little Mac one was funny.

she's probably literally ashamed of you and it's not cool to make light of that
Was thinking the same thing.

Silly Umbreon, Japanese romanization doesn't use the letter v.
Except I'll point out that SAO has a score of 8.19. And somehow Angel Beats! has a higher score than Haibane Renmei. I don't put any stock into other people's opinions in drama. Have any of you even seen the show?

I'd argue that SAO came out recently (or at least more recently than said anime), and many anime, especially shounen ones, tend to ride the hype train into higher scores until they level out. Same goes with Angel Beats, though to a lesser extent. Serious romance anime and/or serious slice of life anime tend to be ignored by the overhyped shounen fans and thus tend to be a bit more honest.

But that's more of a sub-point; I do agree that there isn't a huge difference between anime #236 and anime #562, my real issue is how low the anime is actually ranked. I usually view any anime that is ranked #100 to #900 to be of similar qualities; there will be some you like and some you don't like, but most of them tend to be above average, and around #900-#1000 you start noticing that there is a drop in quality. So when an anime is ranked somewhere in the #1500, I'm going to start raising some questions when someone says its actually good, and even more so when he/she says, and I quote, "it's the best anime I've ever seen".

This is on MAL if it wasn't obvious to begin with.

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Like I said, I don't mind if things are ranked #862, because I understand the nature of the rating systems. But when something is ranked at #1500, then of course I'd be skeptical if they said it was the best thing since sliced bread.

Key word: skeptical, not downright stubbornly resistant, in case you missed that in my previous post.
