Yes, but in its own way that makes it kind of strange. Holding down to reduce knockback is also weird: crouch cancelling or holding down on the ground makes sense, but that idea working in the air is something I can't fathom to explain.

Confirmation? Only thing I've seen was pikachu getting hit while blatantly crouching, which has always reduced knockback to 2/3rds.

Do people even play it on pc anymore? When I got it, on steam launch day, there was only 20-30 people. That lasted for a good month er so, then I just dropped the game since no one played it on pc.

meh, I don't like DDD in a brawl esque environment. I've been watching zero and he's playing it like brawl except now you can't air dodge immediately which is negated anyway by the absurd BKB on everything except d-throws.

Maybe it's because I'm spending too much time on the internet today and watching without really playing, but the impressions I keep getting are "I really like that they did this, but I really hate that they did this". The game overall just seems so inconsistent.

Oh. Damn. I'm moving back to TX in that timeframe so I dont think I'll be able to go.

I'm pretty sure Bowser is better than Pichu, who has no OOS game, a horrible shield, can't rack up damage reliably on anybody but fastfallers, horrible range on everything...

I don't think Pichu is that terrible, and I do want him in PM, but I don't think he can hold a candle to Bowser either. His speed doesn't make up for the fact that the only move Pichu outranges is rest.

I'm indifferent to it if it means I can also choose to play solo Pichu, like ICs. I don't care much for the mechanics of using two characters.

Pichu feels doable vs chars, where as Bowser just absolute folds to a lot of good chars. It's the difference between severely inferior, and dominated.

pichu has my favorite physics of any character in melee by far (minus being as light as a paper nair plane) I really hope that they put him in PM at some point I don't even care if they just port him from melee with no buffs I just want to be able to play him in PM

Pichu, is probably better than bowser in melee on just sheer movement options alone. He also goes roughly even with IC's (IC's can't do anything other than wobble so low percent set-ups like dthrow>dair reset to regrab don't work) so he's got that going for him. Bowser and Ness are decent but are worse than Pichu. Kirby is by far the worst though.

The bottom of the tier list should look like Kirby<Ness<bowser<Pichu(decent gap) <mewtwo/ zelda/ GnW< Roy/link/DK<ylink<yoshi imo.

but that that point you're just comparing turds to each-other.
