I like custom music. Or at least, I like when the custom music is relevant to the stage. BF, FD, SSE? Anything goes. But could you please try to keep your non-game music off game-based stages? I honestly hate that **** so much. Nearly all of my music for those stages is music I found more appropriate than Brawl's (especially given I'm not even much of a fan of Brawl's overall soundtrack).

: Darky won 3-2, I went all Ike for the last three matches. In the tourney I went Marth, Squirtle, DK, CF, Falco, Ike (just for the GF matches), and Zelda dittos. Felt like maybe going Snake or Diddy but didn't. I still need a Wifi Bowser counter besides learning the ditto.

If those 'chillest beats' don't include Big Brain Academy's title theme, then I do believe that you're doing something wrong.

How is that being stiff? Is it unreasonable to not want to listen to someone's iTunes playlist while I'm trying to watch a tournament for hours at a time? I'm not asking people to play my music or preventing them from screwing with their own builds. I'm just asking to use the default music that comes with the game on the main stream. People watching at home are forced to listen to it the entire time, and they shouldn't have to sacrifice the commentary just because whoever's running it likes a certain type of music. If they want to play with the Brawl settings and turn off songs and turn on others, that's totally fine.

Batistabus has a point, but at the same time, the music can engage people more so than the default music. there are also people who dislike the default music to the point where they'll sacrifice the commentary so they can listen to something they enjoy.

the only people who should have a say in what music is played on the stream set up is the TO, the streamer, and more importantly, the players. If the music is distracting the players, then the music should either be swapped out or muted, everything else is subjective to the people who matter in relation to custom music ie streamer/TO.

that's my opinion on the matter.

music in general is a two way street and there will always be people on both sides of the camp.

I once replaced Ganondorf's CSP, color swaps, battle portraits, and all instances of his name with "Billy Mays". I just left for work, my roommate had a bunch of people over to play, and get told of how Mays cleaned house. In more than one way.
