When I saw that the forced hop I was pretty happy but then I saw... The limit nerf.


Honestly I think the only character that REALLY gets off for being able to cancel tether to retether is Lucas. ZSS can walljump bair or something. I think most characters can drop from the ledge and nair the recovering tether character and the ones that can't have good enough punish games onstage to send the opponent offstage to usually kill them.


For example (assuming longer forced ledgehop is in and you can tether 3 times) if I'm a Link and I'm recovering and Marth is ledgehogging and I zair. First I have three options, 1. I can reel in, 2. I can stall, 3. I can cancel then spin2wingetrektscrub. If I reel in then I get Up-Aired to tipper F-Smash. If I stall then he can chill. If I try to spin2wingetrektscrublol then he can ledgehop dair my face.

I'm somewhat concerned how Up-B based tether characters will fare, specifically Olimar and Ivy. ZSS gets her down B back (I assume will stay in) but Olimar's pikmin pluck boost happens once and his tether isn't amazing, Ivy does have dair stall but people can wreck that.



Comparing un-nerfed tethers to nerfed tethers is somewhat unfair so we can look at these recoveries compared to other, non-tether, recoveries such as Fox, G&W, DK.
- Fox can stall with shine, a quick side-b that can edgecancel and a decent, but laggy, length Up-B. He also has one of the fastest falling speeds in the game which hurts his recovery a lot. If he Up-B's close to the ledge or under the stage he's usually dead but if he's somewhat away from the stage he can go high, to the ledge, forward, etc. If the opponent guesses right then Fox is pushed off of the stage and MIGHT be able to attempt another Up-B from a worse position (typically), if the opponent guesses wrong then Fox either is safe or can get punished but typically lands on the stage to get another DJ and stuff.
- DK's recovery is pretty bad, his Up-B goes a mediocre distance with 'no' landing lag with a small DJ. DK has a decent weight and with good DI (and no semispike) can live to decent percents.
- G&W has a bucket stall, is a medium speed faller, and a long Up-B which he can act out of. The opponent can punish G&W if he comes from below the stage (usually) but if G&W goes high then he can 1. land on top platform (depends), 2. bucket stall, 3. B-reverse shenanigans, 4. get rekt by Up-Air and have floatiness that helps. If G&W gets hit off the stage again (and doesn't die with his floaty/light attributes he can typically try again.



I'm not really sure about how I feel. I know I like the forced ledgehop nerf but I'm not sure about the limit nerf except maybe for Lucas.

You mean to tell me you can essentially hold people indefinitely in an open air prison on a tiny strip of land without any supplies going in or out and you don't think they have any right to fight back at all, such as building tunnels to get necessities for survival, even when it carries the risk of being annihilated by the incredibly strong Israeli military? Your only considered a terrorist in war if you don't have gigantic militaries to do your fighting for you. Then it's completely legitimate force no matter what atrocities are committed in your name. If Israel wanted a lasting peace they would have made damn sure to have negotiated a peace deal by now that ends the occupation and creates a Palestinian state rather than keeping it going for propaganda. They have all the power here, trust me. Those crappy rockets are almost nothing against the Iron Dome.

More importantly, a school can teach their kids about the history of the conflict even if Israel doesn't look good in that discussion just like Israeli children hear very pro-Zionist teachings and nobody complains about it. That's a huge double standard I thought you were pointing out in your original post.

I can't confirm that these translations are correct, but it sounded kinda bad. Furthermore, one of the people who was teaching in the schools was making bombs, but that could also be false reporting (if you want to have an evidence debate, which are terrible and grueling, at least provide your own evidence that could be considered higher quality, not that I'm suggesting you are trying to start such a debate). Even if it is true, it doesn't mean he influenced the children, weird people become teachers every so often. My school cut a teacher because he was caught buying sex. Back to the Fox report though, there were also allegations that school facilities were used to train militant groups and ect.

There is a reason most platform heroes are lame and unmemorable while Nintendo's cast of characters stand the test of time.

I think this is a good change for lucas, link, and some other characters, but I'm hesitant for characters like ZSS and olimar who rely on tethering as they're only recovery option. I'm fine with characters like Link or Lucas because they can mix up their recovery with up-b, but ZSS and Olimar are kind of stuck in this awful position. I guess Olimar and ZSS' recovery snap to the ledge faster to compensate with that, but I dunno. I'm more or less acceptable with this for ZSS because she's a very offensive styled character anyway, but idk about Olimar.

If that happens then I should be allowed to put up pictures of waifu body pillow arcade sticks lol. And as much as I love that type of stuff I go to other sites for all of that stuff but I'm not switching my avatar until Falco is announced for smash 4 or I decide to pick a boss from MMX3 and use that from there.

EDIT: On the subject of tether nerfs and such someone should make a video on every character punishing those types of recoveries also I play Roy recovery nerfs meaning you are gonna get smacked off the stage and staying off when I hit you with a f-smash.

If its somthing else then I'm lost XD.
