Left hand: Directional stick/L/-/-/- Right hand: C-stick, B, Y, Z, R (set to attack)
Basically a weird type of clawing.
It is awesome I can do all the momentum jumps etc. it was worth relearning it.

Hey guys. So I main Roy, and play some Marth as well. Is there a reason why sometimes when doing aerials instead of the "sword blur" I can see the sword itself during the arc? It happens with any form of aerial I use (control+a or cstick).

I honestly have little idea of why it happens, but I notice it mostly happens with aerials performed while falling down. It also happens with grounded moves, noticeably jab, so it might also have something to do with stale moves.

Alright, thanks. I'll test it out. Moves stale in training mode, right?

EDIT: It's not staling. I've found a concrete cause, though. When you do an aerial, move the cstick slower than you would usually do it. If the effect doesn't appear, go slower and slower and slower until you see it. I dunno. This is weird. PMBR plz halp

AFAIK, this is a problem with Brawl in general. Trails for whatever reason just choose not to show sometimes. If you pause and unpause, this can do this to them as well and they can usually get fixed by just turning the other direction and using the same move. It doesn't make any sense.
