You don't even have to use the c stick. Just up B and within a few frames, just flick the stick to the direction you aren't facing.

Actually, no. It's more akin to a wavebounce, in that you keep face the same way but Roy goes the opposite direction. Try it out. It's nothing like flicking the stick the opposite side.

At least, that's what it was. As Pokemon developed it became more a game about building a bond with those monsters in order to be the best rather than just mindlessly battling.

Pokemon looking less threatening and more just like themselves is to be expected.

He's got the general hate from the public for the way he won.

This is from the casual side that hates things like "cheap" wins, edgehogging, and especially stalling.

The people that know better are just riding off that hate to fuel it harder.

Trust me, if he took that final match without stalling at the end, I think some people would of been disappointed that kirby didn't win, but they would of congratulated him fairly and gave him props for winning like "a man."

The other hate would of still been there regardless, just not in such extreme.

i know that, i was also rooting for hungrybox but not because i dont like zero because i have always liked hungrybox as a player and also i find it better that the first winner from a tournament of the new smash was kirby, it would've fitted better since its kirby. but yeah i was also mad because of how he one in the end but still the hate is just dumb :l.

Messing around with grabs, I noticed that inputting a dash grab and flicking the stick the opposite direction immediately after beginning the grab causes your character to turn around to perform the dash grab, but conserve their momentum so they slide backwards while doing a dash grab. Neat. Is this what's called a pivot grab?

Yes, but that's a very silly way to do it. You just have to flick back on the control stick. Z is a macro of attack and shield, and the C Stick is just a macro of attack and the control stick.

I kind of don't like the Chu haters because they say pretty much the same thing.

It's silly to hate either of them. They're actually pretty nice people, from the very little I met of them at CEO. Hating a person for winning is silly. BUT, that doesn't mean that their playstyles can't be abominable. Smash is a spectator sport, and what they get flack for is just really really hard to spectate, because it's just dull to watch someone run away and time the other person out, or go for command grab suicide kills that have no real effective counter beyond playing in a campy fashion which is equally difficult to enjoy spectating.
