Why isn't there a petition to convince Sakurai to bring back wavedashing?

Sakurai is aware of the demands of the competitive Smash community, however he wants SSB to be a party game accessible to those of all ages, for the whole family (because Melee wasn't apparently?). And honestly, he has been pretty unreasonable lately; he removed story mode because he was afraid people would upload the cut-scenes and that would decrease sales.

I don't think he will listen, especially this far into SBB4's development.

It's better to attempt to get back the competitiveness than to just do nothing and wait till Sakurai releases his party game.
