Yeah it was bad. Worst part was it actually cost me and awestin our winners set because he plays puff and someone took us there as double fox

Yeah im basically the master of janky stages. Imo if it isnt significantly random theres no way it can reward a worse player, and thats all we as tos can try to prevent. More diverse stages means you have to have a higher level of mastery over a big group of stages, which makes the game more skillful. However a lot of people dont actually like those skills being tested, which makes them unpopular.

Out of the page 1 stages, the ones that should go are skyloft ( too big and strange platform layout greatly benefits camping), yoshis melee and fod (already basically too small for teams, plus too redundant with each other and wario ware) and obviously ps1. Stages that could fill the spots could be castlevania, frigate, delfino, pictochat (if someone would get off their ass and remove the diagonal line), or even stuff like halberd or castle seige. Theres a lot of room for rulesets so its cool to see other tos actually take initiative to test changes rather than hurr durr apex

I want a neutral Port Town Aero Dive (Drive?) on page 1, simply for the god tier F-Zero music that stage has.

Why are you saying FoD is too small? It's bigger than WarioWare and in fact is closer to the size of Battlefield.

If I figured out how to actually host tournaments, I'd try different stage layouts as well. It's a damn shame I can't hear any of the awesome F-Zero or Super Mario 3D World tracks I put in. Or Metroid Metal. Or Fire Emblem Awakening. ****, man.

Port town is honestly not that bad. Having the hazards come prevents camping the transformations for the most part, and the stage only makes really quick stops anyways, and the stages you can camp put you at a big positional disadvantage when the ship flies away. Its a little unnerving to take like 90% off of the road while the stage moves, but usually messing around underneath any other stage means youre dead anyways. Definitely a little out there though.

@ hotdogturtle hotdogturtle there isnt a whole bunch of room on the stage compared to most otheres, which isnt necessarily that bad, but combined with the redundancy of bf/yoshis its just another reason to take it ofd. Although the low floor, changing platforms, and cieling give it more to stand out than yoshis

Agreed completely. My current stagelist has castle siege and frigate on as CPs.

I thought Sakurai himself actually said something about every stage in the Wii U version changes so it can be legal.
Final Destination mode is brilliant but that's not what I meant. An option to remove stage hazards like the Yellow Devil and very likely Ridley would be excellent.

Why is coyboy bebop so damn good oh my goddd
Cowboy bebop is my main counter against anyone who says dub sucks

Dub hater : Man why are all anime dubs such ****? people should just stay with the original voice acting. All hail Japanese voices!

Pills: Cowboy bebop.

Should we have a wiki just for Project M? I know ssbwiki has started incorporating PM stuff, but it's a little convoluted when you want to say, search for a list of meteors / spikes and it just shows Melee / Brawl info, which isn't organized well for PM and may not even be accurate to this game.

It made less sense to have a dedicated wiki in the past because the game was changing much more than it is nowadays. It's pretty stable now and I think we could all benefit from a centralized repository for information specific to PM.

Just a thought. I know several times I've tried to look something up on ssbwiki and had to either jump through hoops to get PM information in an easy to read way (or at all) and subsequently had to come on the forums and ask.

Edit: go nuts http://projectmgame.wikia.com/wiki/Project_M_Wiki

Posted the gif of Ganon wiz kicking off into the sunset on rebbit, and someone commented saying this
They should make a "Timer" mode in Project M via the "Special Brawl" screen, like Turbo mode.
PMBR
plz

I've been watching anime for three or four years and I still haven't watched Bebop all the way through. I've probably seen something like ten episodes of it randomly on TV, though. I like the classics, but I don't put much priority in them. I like to pace them out quite a lot. I spend much more time trying to find hidden gems than classics. Also shorter things, because **** anything with more than 13 episodes in a season.

Why timer mode? If you want all the timer glitches, why not just play with the timer on?

Which reminds me, I need to watch more Space Dandy
The show feels like a missed opportunity to me. The animation is beautiful and colorful. The alien designs rock, and the characters are funny.

But the randomness of events and all the repetition in it doesn't help connect me to what's happening. I mostly don't care what happens to the crew, Dandy especially.

There's like one episode where Dandy is helping out a girl (non-pervertedly) and it feels a lot like Bebop in how scenic and beautiful the travelling around the planet shots are.

I don,t think FD is nearly as polarizing as GHZ. The latter is actually really good for some characters in all matchups, like Roy, Marth, Bowser.
timer mode sounds awesome. What if it just made the game glitchy and messed with the physics to the point where the matches truly felt random?
