The answer is a bit unclear... Does this confirm that using Turbo in 1P was only done for the promo videos and will not be possible in the release version?

I wouldn't be surprised if they made the special brawl options carry over into 1P modes. Think of the possibilities, Metal Cruel Brawl, Giant Multi Man Brawl, Tiny Adventure Mode.
Tiny Cruel Brawl. That sounds ten times crueler than it already was.

It's crystal clear to me, and I think you're interpreting it correctly. It will be possible with codes, so those of us who really want it will be able to have it, but it won't be possible in the stock release.
Jury's still out on whether Wi-Fi Turbo is in the cards, though. I'd guess that it's possible, but I don't know how the codes he was referring to actually work.

Me and some friends are spending the weekend playing Smash, Mahvel, and Skullgirls. I can already feel the salt on my lips...

Just a hangout thing. We get together on Friday at school, kind of rent out the band room, and play Smash. It's a good time, especially when we play some 64 with items afterwards.
Ediit: What makes it all the better is when they start asking things like "Why is Luigi sliding like that?!", "You can combo?!", and "Where can I get this?!". The casuals at my school love it when I bring Project M for everyone to try, and I kind of feel like a missionary bringing the good word to those that wish to find it. XD About 5 of us are the truly competitive players, so we usually hold some 1 on 1's afterwards.

I'm super jealous. I've always loved that kinda thing. A couple of years ago at the end of the school year a couple of friends and I played Smash 64 on a projector in an art room for 6 hours. It was fantastic.

man I love the perfect moonwalks in P:M, there's nothing better for a taunt between stocks on a casual player than seemingly violating the most basic tenet of the game: you run forwards

I was finally able to use project m on dolphin 4.0-173. Now my only problem is that i can't move. It's fine when i play brawl normally. any help? Btw this is my first time on this section on smash boards. So sorry if this is somehow the wrong thread.
That **** is way more ******** than Wobbling. 0 to death with SoPo? That's so stupid. And it's not even hard!
But still, NAKAT's trip was by far not as absurd as M2K's. He missed a chain grab, but its not death for him. M2K's trip was the most unfortunate coincidence in the history of everything.

Is it actually registering your controller? As in, can you navigate menus, or are you just unable to move when actually playing the game?
