So clearly the right thing to do is discuss how he could be buffed, right? I love to speculate/discuss potential balance/design changes and I've never been a fan of unnecessary number tweaking. Hear me out here:

• Bowser has a semi-passive charge meter for Rage, which builds like Aura as Bowser deals damage. Like how Lucario gets glowy paws, Bowser has fire come out of various orifices when Rage fully charged.
• Rage is used via down taunt (which is shortened to be just the roar and is jump cancelable after a bit).
• Rage grants Bowser x seconds of constant light armor and maybe (?) some of the following, depending on how powerful it is: increased damage (?), increased movement speed (??), turbo (???!).
• Rage can maybe be used at any time and grants a different length based on charge level? Maybe??

This would probably end up being dumb and poorly balanced but **** you if you don't think it sounds cool as hell.

I don't like how SSB Wiki tries to classify every change from Brawl as a buff or a nerf instead of, you know, treating this game as it's own thing with it's own internal consistency and set of physics.

Knowing buffs and nerfs between versions would be much more useful an exercise.
