Little Mac is the first new character that I actually think looks fun to play.

I also like how the trailer illustrates his play style as a fast moving rush down character who can tank attacks but has a weak air game.

Between this, the ledge/arrow priority thing and move set discussions in PotDs Sakurai seems quite serious about showing more technical details for a deeper game.

Also this is unrelated (and therefore perfect for the PM Social thread) but after Xanadu this week I'd like to say that every character is hype when Boss plays him.

I actually haven't seen him play PM, I just know he used Mario and Luigi in Brawl, and did quite well.

It's actually pretty hard to find a bad character to main in PM, for those masochist players.
