Where the hell is that coming from?

Also yeah, we need to listen to everyone's opinion, as long as they're in favor of Pichu.

I own this game (or one of them) but I've never played it.
Are these things... fun/good enough to bother playing?
If you're a patient person and can get past the bland, tedious and repetitive gameplay with frustrating difficulty spikes in the later dungeons that span more than 40 floors, you can enjoy the story for what it's worth.

The Mystery Dungeon games are mediocre at best, but maybe that's just me. The story could be the most heart-wrenching tear-jerking Oscar-worthy piece of work ever written, but if I'm not having fun, I'll drop that game real quick. And I just don't have fun playing PMD.

Running out of PP mid-dungeon is really painful as well. I enjoy the games, haven't played once since the first one though.

I got to play as Eevee(it might have been skitty, I don't remember) with a squirtle so I was happy with everything.

The game itself is good, but the GC version's age is showing.

The story it tells is timeless. Worthy of the name of Legend.
Dude tell me about it. The price of the GC version jumped up in price hella sometimes more than the HD remake itself it's crazy and this is of my favorite Zelda games of all time.

I still have a GC copy; why'd it go up so much(factoring in collector values)?

The price for the Gamecube Wind Waker probably rose up in price due to the burst in interest due to Wind Waker HD. However, due to the poor sales of the Wii U, most people still only use the Wii and/or Gamecube, which means they could just play the regular Gamecube Wind Waker if they wanted to play WW instead of WWHD.

Why do good gamecube games have to stay so high priced -.- I need another Melee disk so I can have a 3rd set-up but I also don't want to drop the 45 bucks to pick one up.

I personally would like both but would probably look forward to Genesis 3 more. Simply for the possible inclusion of project m in the line up.

I don't think PM would be allowed at evo, (Nintendo would definitely be against it)

$45 bucks is relatively cheap for a game that is entirely worth it. How many hours will you get out of a fresh copy of Melee?

Tell me about that's why I'm actively trying to get the pricy games for my Gamecube collection mostly the Resident Evil remakes, Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance, Skies Of Arcadia rerelase, Beyond Good and Evil, XD Gale of Darkness, Baten Kaitos series, Twilight Princess, Lost Kingdom series, LOZ Master Collection, Four Swords and Melee in which I need another copy of just cause mostly for the official box.

Also I forgot about Pikmin 1 and 2 and Kirby Air Ride as well.

About 40 if you have no smash scene.

About ∞ if you have a smash scene.
Try over 1000 if your me during Middle School and Early High School cause I played that game like crack trying to get everything and figure out cheap stuff then when I found out about Wavedashing and such I cracked out in the game even more and trying to get ready for Brawl :(

Actually, you can get the Gamecube Resident Evils very cheap. REmake is a steal.
I got REmake for $ 25 bucks and RE Zero for $10 and in my experience for looking to buy RE 2 Remake that's going for a decent amount.

I don't know about you, but getting everything in that game that was important did not take more than a week.

As for things like that, It's not something I would go to learn if I don't have anyone to play with.

It's why I stopped playing pretty much every fighting game we ever get.

Speaking of good Gamecube games - I need help finding a used copy of Tales of Symphonia, that isn't over $30 bucks. I feel bad I've only played and finished the sequel (I still thought the sequel was awesome).

Good luck.

Speaking of that. Namco is still helping with smash.

I'm really hoping that Lloyd gets in smash 4 ;_;

Thanks, I'd guess you saw my post earlier then (that sorta included my thoughts on the next Smash). Guess it's time to go for eBay, people are being assholes with prices for games now on Amazon.

And speaking of characters that could go into Smash from Namco, I had a friend that was actually hoping for Digimon fighters. I won't deny that'd be pretty cool, but it just won't happen - also please no Pacman in the next Smash...he deserves to stay in the 90s.

Back then I was Smash or die but it was mostly trying to get all of the trophies and notification. But over that time I owned 2 copies of Melee and resetted the data to blank slate and over again a few times.

Good luck you have to be lucky I only got lucky once but I had to pay gas at a tournament and a buddy of mine was gonna sell it to me for $25 but I had to save my money for the trip back home that's why :( . I ultimately decided to bite the bullet and bought it for $35 around Christmas time of last year. You can't wait forever man you have keep looking and get lucky or bite the bullet and buy it outright and I'm forced to do it with Fire Emblem Path OF Radiance and Radiant Dawn soon once I get a job and some stable money under my belt.

I still never got why those two games of Fire Emblem were so expensive. I get they were awesome, but I wasn't sure what the big appeal on the Gamecube was other than just looking great in 3D graphics. But, yeah I definitely do need to bite the bullet.

That's not a remake, it's a straight-up port of RE2. Same thing with RE3. Just get the original PS1 version that's much cheaper.

Smash or die eh.

When I had melee I wasn't even a fraction of how good I am now. There were so many people that were better than me where I live. I wanted to be as good as them so I played.
But I never got to play against those people. So I hit a plateau. just stayed there.

Brawl came out and I loved it far more than melee because of all the craziness since I would play with friends exclusively. One day we went to a friends house though and I didn't want to take brawl.

We took melee instead. Played it. Despite not having all the brawl chars it was even more fun. Insane. This was around 2011-2012 ish.
We started playing melee a lot and everyone was just getting into it. Eventually my friends were getting as good as me and my normal competitive nature kicked in.

I took it up a notch, and started learning the things I wanted to learn a few years ago but had no motivation to because no one would play with me. I started using these techs and incorporating them into my style and I ascended a step further.

Just like in the past though, people were starting to get sick of playing smash with me because I got to that level they think that's too far to reach.
I had made a smash brothers thread on another forum I frequent and someone told me about Project M.

Initially I shrugged it off and was like "eh", but I decided to take a look at it. I was interested, I won't lie. I REALLY wanted to play it. But I didn't have a 2gb sd card and I wasn't about to buy one with my $0 income to get a game I might not even like.

One day my friend found an extra 2gb sd card and I said I would get it set up eventually. I waited about a week because I wasn't sure if I was ready for the change. The day before I did it though I said my goodbyes to all the fun custom stages on brawl and started transferring the files. I did some pre reading and research on the character changes so I would know what to expect.

We loaded it up.
Blown. The ****. Away.

My friends were able to get even better after finding characters they really hit home with and I was able to get even better because of more exposure. The better they got, the better I wanted to, and made it a point to get.

To this day, Smash brothers is one of the only fighter games I can actually still play with my friends.

Uhhh. /endrant
Yes I know it had nothing to do with what you were talking about.

Shut up Saito you don't even go here
What the hell did you just say about me, you little scrub? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in Super Smash Brothers, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on The Subspace Army, and I have over 300 confirmed K.O.s. I am trained in the neutral game and I’m the top edgeguarder in the entire US smashscene. You are nothing to me but just another fox. I will wipe you out with advanced techniques the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my words. You think you can get away with saying that to me over the Internet? Think again. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of smashers across the USA and your tag is being traced right now so you better prepare for the thunder, pleb. The Thunder that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your main. You’re K.O'd, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can K.O you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just in Melee. Not only am I extensively trained in Project M, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the item selection and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your samus the face of the continent. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price. I will wavedash fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re K.O'd, kiddo.

:troll:
I had to edit it to make it work in a smash format
