Ouoh, these twins, one male one female, super smart people who were VERY UNIQUE SNOWFLAKES (in a good way), rode the same bus with me for all of high school. Dang, I heard stories and reasons of why people didn't like them, or found them annoying, and sometimes they shared their sorrows and delights. But, at every bad tale I couldn't help but think "my classmates have petty grievances" or "these two have it tough, even if it is partly of their own making" or "the education system, especially the public variety, sure is a load of doo-doo".

Anyways, they preached the good word of low-carb diets to me with goddam science. Well, mostly Abe (the guy). I'm sure the girl was attracted to me at some point, but, they weren't the most attractive lot itellyawhat.
But my body can cope so well, and has had a good upbringing with my mother's excellent cooking and "only eat as much as you want" philosophy (seriously, screw "you gonna stay at the table until you finish", that only causes people to develop habits that make them eat into misery or out of obligation), that I can take the delicious, sugary, or super fatty fat carb goodness. Oohh. I want french fries covered in gravy with cheese curds.
Still, my metabolism will slow, and I will be out on my own eventually, so I must be thankful that I was proselytized so.
