I haven't played PM in a week or so because I left my disc at a friend's, he lives like thirty minutes away and I can't ever get a ride to go there

Funny because I left the thread once (had to be, sometimes the discussion has no link to logic whatsoever), and I pretended to take a ironic comment of Seagull as decisive for that.

1. Huge adverting budget from WB puts it in commercials, magazines, and websites for people to see.

2. The violence is the wow factor for the kid on the street.

3. A lot of single player content for casuals.

If you're not at S2J's or Westball'z level of tech there's a lot to be had

If you're not at S2J's or Westball'z level of tech there's a lot to be had

Maybe there's a context I'm not understanding, but are you saying there is no point to learning PM tech unless you know Melee tech at a level equivalent to S2J, Westballz, etc.? Sounds kinda unreasonable, and even if you're only talking about yourself I don't see a downside to you to learning it

PM Diddy -> I need MU knowledge/experience, which I don't and am ****ed. Games changing next version anyways.

Melee requires more tech grind than PM. Getting good at Falco tech to a high level does a lot of work for you, since it's required in the first place. It's not that statement at all for Melee, hence it wouldn't be one of the ambiguous questions the MBR had for years as one of their application questions.
