Sometime seeing others in the act of drunkenness makes me incredibly glad that I can't stand the taste of alcohol.
You say that now

That feeling up superiority when you can type better than strongbad when super drunk tho:troll:

I was actually gonna ask this specifically instead of asking for something more broad. What makes music awful, because I already know some songs I won't be able to play loool
I watched these dudes from Melee hell stream earlier and they were playing this dope playlist of like Clapton and Hendrix and Marley and jefferson airplanes and **** like that. Old bluesy rock is the best. I'm so ****ing sick of streamers with only hiphop/edm/game ost remixes. There's never any classical or rock/metal or blues or folk or choral or anything interesting. It's like gamers only listen to music from games and edm and hip hop, I swear.

That's just the audience I guess. I personally listen to everything. I think most of those streams are just trying to have upbeat or hype music in the background.

I just got back from hanging with my friends one last time before I move to Texas on Thursday and I see I missed a night of unrelenting hilarity.

I love this thread. ¦D

Hey man, when I play Melee the tag still fits. The G is for Ganon

Also they didn't invite me to the PM Ganon Round Robin and I was very sad

....

I always thought DMG just stood for a shortened version of DAMAGE, well that's the connection my mind made without knowing what it really stood for.

Ya it used to be (and I quote the bad punctuation/grammar exactly) dr.mario guy

And don't worry, everyone makes that mistake. People can fill in what it stands for on their own, not a bad acronym to snatch up imo. I got lucky that dr.mario guy lent itself to DMG

Edit:
dr. mario ganon? man, you're weird, just saiyin.
Oh snap forgot. Yeah nvm that doesn't fit. In my mind, I changed the whole thing to something like Dark Master Ganon or Dank Meme Generator. People can have way too much fun coming up with 3 diff words to fit it.

lmao ween

ween is hilarious but idk if I actually "like" ween

also false to whoever said that gamers only like vgm and edm and hiphop. I do like hiphop but edm is ****, vgm sucks the vast majority if the time.
I listen to some experimental electronic music, some ambient music, some old pre-2009 dubstep, some future garage, whatever animal collective is, whatever death grips is, whatever crystal castles is, and vaporwave

Imo saying you listen to everything means you have no sense of depth. There's a difference between being open minded and claiming you have absolutely no bias.

Do you listen to Arab pop? Noise? Asian folk? Brutal technical death metal? Church hymns? Atmospheric? Funk? Indie rock? Binaural beats? Bubblegum pop? Incidental music? R&B? National Socialist or Suicidal Depressive Black Metal? Latin dance? Bluegrass? Jam sessions?

Holy ****, I am opinionated about music.

I hate the terminology the USF4 player-base uses. Why can't they just use the terminology the game gives because it is so ****ing confusing trying to remember/figure out which players terms matches the in game terms. Good grief.

dank meme generator is legit. just go with that when people ask what it stands for.

This
I do listen to anything I hear, but I can't say I explore everything. Right now I'm still focusing on indie rock and jazz, exploring a lot of Stangetz's work

I do my musical exploration mostly on the calm side of music, and that's really only when I sit down and start drawing, when it comes to playing smash, I do revert back to those vidyagaem osts, because they're just more fitting for beating the crap out of each other.

when is smash going to get our own version of a kenbot tho
The real question is when smash going to get a play and record feature in training mode?

Different FG scenes have different terms and notation but alot of us still use the basic terms man. And look at smash terms throughout the years and tell me ours is any better outside of johns LMAO like friendlies lol LBSH.

And on the topic of music outside of gaming I'm mainly a jazz and rap head but mostly jazz nowadays.
