The qualifier system uses Elo, so having a single qualifier outside of the southwest wouldn't help really. The person who won it could potentially not make it into the top 8 in terms of points. You'd have to do a more traditional qualifier system like how APEX and MLG did it.

Still, if they knew that many OoSers were coming after the qualifier system was in place then they could've had a qualifier event outside of the southwest. Food for thought.

Nothing was stopping oos from having qualifiers. So that's really on you guys

Also any reason you didn't use dash attack to get the little extra reach before he Fox would hit the ground? You seemed to always run -> D-Smash. Dash attack wouldn't thrown off the teching timing with a mini pop up which would lead to a potential boost Fair or something.

While I do agree that there is some major imbalance, the real imbalance comes from the lag, gear, and level differences more than anything. Even through all the new characters having really strong mechanics.

At this point, I'm able to outplay most of the rank S and some of the SS players while only being rank A-S, but I can't kill most of them because there's too much free damage in this game. And that was before all the OP classes in general because that's just the mechanics of the game.

I mean if I stacked triple wind I probably could but I ain't rich.

My brother has had pretty good success with Lord knight, what rank are you?
You haven't played for a while so you might be unranked right now but what rank were you previously?
Level would be nice too.
