Ofc they don't know their history. They can't even read the previous comments and watch the video.

I dislike Omni for this exact reason tho. Hit or miss substance, lots of controversy, all click bait.

Praxis is and Omni played Brawl back in it's heyday as well.

Omni and I were both members together of the Brawl Back Room that made the tier lists, rulesets, etc and were for many years. I play PM/Melee more now and Omni is a big Smash 4 player. It's hilarious to have people call the two of us Melee elitists. I'm totally fine with respectful disagreements but "Melee elitists" is basically the go-to response to anyone who says anything remotely negative regarding either the game or the community, even if it's constructive.

Oy.

It really is weird to see PM face far greater adversity and deal with it better than how the Smash 4 community has been able to work with a significant national and being handed one of the biggest tournament events on a silver platter.

We not esports and I'm okay with that.

Just found out about Rivals of Aether.

Well, I think I found something to run PM with. Too many Melee players in my state are too much of a problem to try to co-run with them... might as well support something that clearly is made with a lot of conscious effort to competitive play.
