What are the requirements for a footstool?

Which woodwork class are you taking?

1) you gotta be right up above them, like models are colliding and all

2a) if they're in the air, they can't be throwing out an aerial. well, they CAN, but the most important part of a footstool (the bit where they're temporarily stunned) won't work

2b) if they're on the ground, they can't be shielding, for the same reason

I mean, the only way Squirtle can change direction out of a super rar or ss jump is straight up because they jump again, or backwards because they withdrawed, so it's not really like you cant tell where he's gonna go

SpiderMad. Came up with MAD as a Wifi tag when I set-up Wifi thinking it would be annoyingly laggy (Me). Asked my friend PinkiePie on PM IRC for Smashmods username ideas and he mentioned BatMad and SpiderMad (His idea, that was of reference to something iconic). Pretty good username except for search engines, not that I can come up with something better to represent me which is the point. Good thing I don't have as much of the same problem with PMDepot.

My avatar is a random cat I found by googling "cat at night" since I like cats (Me). Found the awesome picture (random guy in Brazil that took a pic of his cat on the roof or something). Asked people to photoshop it with my idea, but their interepration of what it means to have a kaoken aura (which is suppose to be red..) and a dragon tail or whatever I mentioned (Binary Clone's work).

You can still only go backwards out of breverse and wavebounce if you're in a super rar or ss jump
Super rar is easy to react to, you're just personally not fast enough if you cant
Wavelanding on a platform requires you to go up, which is also a direction I said

I will accept any Squirtle's MM at Aftershock. I've actually gotten the impression that Dedede wins the MU if the player is familiar enough with the Squirt, and would like to test that.
EDIT: And to clarify, I main Ivysaur and Dedede.

I'm not sure you know what saying you don't know means. If you air dodge through an item, your character grabs it; there's no "how-to," it's self explanatory.

nah thats like saying you dashdance by hitting left and right a lot, and then you try it and get ****ed up anyway. just because you can mechanically input something doesnt mean you know how to use it.

I'm fuzzy on most of those.

I feel like there should be a really comprehensive tutorial video on how to do all of these and every other general pm tech skill, including slow-mo visuals of controller input. I know there are some vids kind of like this but I haven't ever seen a good one.

But yeah.. as people can see, I haven't been active on Smashboards in a good long while, but I've been very active in my region's tourney scene, the Socal PM facebook group (which I admin), and in the dev room. Socal is very under the radar, and 90% of our tourneys go unrecorded/unstreamed, but you're going to see myself and a lot of our family at Aftershock. We'll be sure to put on a good show for everyone.

You know what IS a pseudoscience that only exists to support completely inane social structures, though? Racism.
We're all the same species/race literally doesn't apply to us on any biological level, but nope.

While there is no evidence for any kind of superiority of any socalled "race" (which actually means different ethnicities), there is still a thesis on the table saying the homo sapiens mixed with different kinds of earlier forms of humanity, like the homo neanderthalensis, instead of replacing them, and that there could be genetic differences.
The topic isn't discussed as much currecntly iirc because there is no evidence for either of the two hypotheses. It could also turn out, even if the mix thesis is correct that this doesn't support any claims of racism.
But still this should be a reminder that the truth doesn't favour any thesis, and as long as we don't know, we really can only guess.

DISCLAIMER: This is only addressed at arguments in a form of a "racism" (if you could even call it like that then), which claims there might be genetic differences in ethnicities (which might be big or not big enough to lead to certain sub-classifications), and not the argumentativley unsupported claim of the superiority of any ethnicity, or turns a culturalistic argument of historical achievements into an unsupported racism. By the way, culturalism is also dangerous, claiming certain cultures are superior to others, to support an intolerant approach towards other cultures. Right now in Europe there is a political shift to the right for several reasons and in many countries right-populist, right-conservative or nationalistic use culturalist theses, because the average voter is not as scared of it as of racism and maybe has his/her own prejudices.

i also feel it necessary to point out: i understand nintendo's reasoning behind their stance, if the author's understanding of japanese copyright law is correct. that makes total sense from a business standpoint. it's just his personal conclusion that i'm not agreeing with here.
