Toriko has a bunch of insane powers, though. Pretty sure it has the strongest characters of a running series

it depends. on one hand, acting in a specific way on your own in accordance with your own moral standing is awesome and i fully support that. on the other hand, i think it crosses that line when you tell other people how to think, how to speak, how to act. if you don't like how other people are... just go away from them. you have the option to remove yourself from the situation. even if you think i have no class, it's not your job to take it upon yourself to change that.

Eh, slice of life stuff doesn't usually appeal to me unless I'm in that specific mood. Otherwise I'd look deeper into it. Shonen, however, is full of action, which is admittedly what I crave in all forms of writing.
