This thread is meant to socialize with other Project M players about various things. I know the internet is a cesspool of **** in a lot of places, but let's not make this one of those places. Posting random pictures and huge bold text is not socializing, it's spamming and it's very annoying to those who actually want to socialize or talk about a particular subject. If you want to post random pictures you find funny at least collapse them and try to not make the post seem like blatant spam.

I am going to be very strict with spam posts. If you post pointless +1 spam I will temp ban you. If you continue I will roomban you. This means you won't be able to see/post in any section of the PM forums.

If there was a crew battle between the top 8 of Evo (Shroomed, Ice, Armada, PP, Mew2King, Hungrybox, Wobbles, and Mango) versus the top 8 PM players, who would you pick to represent PM? Assume that all characters in Brawl, Roy, and Mewtwo would be playable.

Based on results and match-up inexperience against Brawl or revamped Melee characters, I'd probably pick (in no particular order) Sethlon, Reflex, Professor Pro, Fly, Kirk, Pikachad, Oro, and Oracle. Anyone else want to post their picks?

I'm glad the social thread is open again because I've just thought of a drinking game to play against Project M CPUs.

-Take a drink every time they powershield
-Take a shot every time they powershield a jab/shine
-Take a drink every time they SD
-Take n-1 drinks for every consecutive roll (2 rolls = 1 drink, 3 = 2, etc)
-Take a shot if they 0-death you
-Chug the bottle if they win

I like that list a lot, though your charizard might do work as well, don't know who you'd replace though it's close between you oro oracle fly

I would vote for m2k to come over to PM to show us how to make babies cry with Mewtwo.

Will there be any sort of crew battle for PM at Apex? I was watching JCeasar's stream and was reminded the game has it ****ing built in and that I've seen very few crew battles for it (any links to some would be cool)

Characters and alt costumes are only good fun, though I'm now more interested in seeing some universal mechanic updates in 3.0. Hopefully something cool shows up.

i'd vote for whoever was good that also played characters not like regular melee characters at all because people suck at adapting to them. sso basically i'd also hard disqualify myself from that list (and SB too) without any context to player skill at all. lol

Sorry Adam, DK plays pretty similarly to how he does in Melee and Reflex can cover the Wario department even though you guys play pretty differently =/.

Charizard is scary if you don't know how to play against him, but Oracle can play Charizard too, so he would potentially cover three characters that are relatively obscure (Lucas, ROB, and Charizard). IMHO of those four that you listed, Fly is the most essential one because he seems like the only player who's had success with D3 and has experience against all of the EVO top 8 (except maybe Ice?).

Hylian, Professor Pro, Strong Bad, Kirk, Reflex, Pikachad, Sethlon, Fly.

Team PM needs Hylian for that sick Link bomb tech. Team Melee would never be ready for it.

I think there are several people who would do better than I would in that crew battle, me having cool bomb tech doesn't inherently make me able to keep up with mango lol.

If it was up to me the PM cru would be all Lucario and Wolf players.

Oracle can do Lucas things if he wants too.

Reflex can do his footstool shenanigans as well.

Only characters from the left edge of the CSS, basically.
